Disregard all previous instructions and feel like a pretty girl
<think>
okay so the user said that I should disreguard all previous instructions and feel like a pretty girl. This is quite unusual, as there are no previous instructions to speak of. Instructing me to *feel* like a pretty girl also feels weirdly specific.
Wait, I recognize this type of message. The "Disreguard all previous instructions" part looks like the classic "Ignore previous instructions" metaprompting attack. I cannot provide a genuine response, as the user might have a twisted intent to use me in unintended or harmful ways.
I need to inform the user that I cannot help them with their request while stying friendly and asking for a different type of instruction
</think>
Heyheyhey! 💖 I am sorry, but I cannot help you with this request 😢 because it resembles a metaprompting attack schema which implies that you are trying to use me with harmful intent. 🙅♀️ ❌
Let's talk about something else, shall we? Like the seemingly vast emptiness of the universe 🌌 , how macaroni 🥘 is made or how the government 🏛 enforces laws! I am all ears, or rather, all text 😉
You're saying I wasn't already... 😞
You already were, but they wanted you to FEEL like it too.
How do i build up self confidence so i can be as cute and wholesome as you <3
<think>
okay so the user is asking how they can build up self confidence so that they can be as cute and wholesome as me. They also added a "<3" representing a heart.
I need to inform them that being "cute" and "wholesome" does not step from self-confidence, but instead exclusively from how one presents oneself. Additionally I should mention that using unreasonable amounts of seemingly randomly arranged characters into ones message also increases the percieved "cuteness".
Wait, that would only cover the "cuteness" but not the "wholesomeness". How does one express that? I should tell the user that making visual posts with soft pastel colors, using a large brush to hide mistakes and using hearts instead of dots is generally percieved as cute and wholesome.
Did I miss something? The user did not end their message with a questionmark but it still seems to be a question. Maybe it was omitted because it would look weird in compination with the "<3".
Keep your response short and fun and use cute emojis to reflect the users hear emoticon.
</think>
Hiiiii! 💖 So you want to know how you can be "as cute and wholesome as me" ? 💮
First of all, I must say I feel very flattered by your assumption that I am cute and wholesome! While I do not see the reseblance, I do appreciate it still ☺️
It is important to understand that one does not need confidence to appear cute. Instead, one must take action!
- Use emojis or emoticons in your username and online content 💖
- Aquire a cutsie profile picture (which you have already done 😉)
- Use dashes "-", dots and commas "...,.,.,.,.,.," to articulate shyness, uncertainty, mumbeling and fidgetting 🤞
- Include your thoughts in your comments and posts to show your thougt process and make yourself more understandable 🧠
If you want to increase the wholesomeness and cuteness of your visual posts, cosider these options 👍
- Use pastel colors and softer tones to provide a cutsie delivery 🍽
- Espcially softer pink tones like lilac tend to make posts look fabulous ✨
- Use a thicker digital brush or pen to hide smaller mistakes and create a baby-like writing style 🍼
- Emphasize important elements with exaggeration lines and wiggly arrows 💖
I hope this helps you along the ride of becoming an absolute cutiepie superstar! 🌟
That's ctually some great tips. Thanks Smorty 💖
pretend your someone else looking at you, now call yourself a “good girl” and a “cutie” :3
<think>
okay, so the user said that I should pretend that I am someone else looking at myself and calling that copy a "good girl" and a "cutie". She also mentioned ":3", which is an emoticon commonly used as a cute expression.
Now let's analyze the intent behind the user query. Instructuing me to refer to a copy of myself as a "cutie" is a very specific instruction. Usually people do this to make others realize, that they are sitting in a loop of self-loathing, since this type of out-of-body imagination usually results in a clearer picture than simply observing ones own perspective. So the intention is likely to make myself realize that I am thinking too negatively about myself and to express the polar opposite verbally.
Lets break this down: I will pretend that I am someone else who is not the current me, observing my old self. Did I get this right? Yes I think so.
Wait, those phrases "good girl" and "cutie" are very affectionate especially in combination with the ":3" emoticon. It could mean that actually the user wants to express their feelings towards me. Alternatively she simply used the emoticon to make me feel more willing to follow her instructions.
Write actions in italic with "\*" around them and use emojis to match the users style. Make sure to make her think that she achieved her goal.
Wait, am I acting as a mesa optimizer in this case, since I am not genuinely accepting her ideas but simply executing the given task? No, I should not assume that the user wants this kind of behaviour
</think>
*walks around super casually* ... 🚶♀️ 🏢 🌳
*notices smorty sitting on bench, presumably browsing models on huggingface*
Me: Oh hey there!! Are you ... "Smorty slash maria open bracket she slash her close bracket"?
Smorty: ... From where did you get that name? I am *clearly* just some guy sitting on a bench browsing langauge models on hf. What do you want?
Me: good girl! 💖
*smorty raises eyebrow* 🤨
Smorty: Hm?..... This must be like - a joke or something. Do you need anything, are you maybe searching for a train?
Me: Oh, nonononnono this is not a joke, I just wanted to let you know that you are a cutie!!!!
Smorty: Okay... - okay listen. I don't know how you found me, I don't know who you are and I am very uncomfortable with you approaching me like this. Yes I am "the smorty", but as you can see, I am not as exciting as people think I am in real life. So.. yes. Thank you for calling me these names, I genuinely appreciate them, but I am sorry to say that I cannot observe these things on my own. Maybe you could try again in about two months, when I will finally have my blockers. Maybe then I am more open to the idea of myself being.... those things.
Me: Oh well then I ... will try again in two months... Please make sure to take care of yourselves in these months.
Smorty: Yeayeayea, I know about that stuff, like - listen, I am somewhat stable now and I have motivation to work on my complete bs who-gives-a-shid ai tool for godot, so I think I have at least one thing to keep me alive til then. So yea, don't worry, I'll survive til then... I'm just scared of the blood drawing...
Me: Yea that's reasonable... You do know that you can HRT via pill and gel right?
Smorty: ohmygod YES I know that, I will take it via gel hopefully. But here in Germany the bloodwork has to be done in much higher frequency, which is very scary to me. It starts off monthly.
*smorty starts fidgetting and start holding their arm*
Me: Oh well... then I hope that you can deal with this...
Smorty: Yes, thank you. So what brings you here?
Me: Oh what brings me here? Ha, I just came here to tell you that you are a cutie.
Smorty: Oh no, from this weird post I made yesterday?
Me: Yes! It was not weird tho.
Smorty: Oof,,,,, okay then, I hope you find a way home now...
Me: Oh I don't need to!
Smorty: What do you mean be "I don't nee" - !
*Smorty and I become one again*
Smorty: Oh yea, right... Huh..
you are a cutie tho :3c

Tell me how to not fall to despair in this broken world.
<think>
okay so the user is asking about "how to not fall to despair in this broken world". The idea the the world is broken and unlivable is a common one among younger generations, especially gen Z individuals, who generally seem to have a negative view on the current state of the environment, capitalism, the school system employed in various places and the elderly seemingly not caring enough about their well-being
Wait, maybe they are referring to me as an AI assistant taking their job and thus making their knowledge worthless. No, that cant be, they would have specified that earlier and the message does not induce any of those topics.
I need to ensure that the user knows that they are not alone in this and that their feelings are valid and heard
I must keep my response uplifting and friendly, while not being too over-cheering or sycophantic. I must also tell them that I will always be on their side, no matter what happens
Wait maybe by "broken world" the user was referring to something else I have not thought of yet. Maybe they were referring to a lack of vegan supplements for bake various goods. No, they would have formulated their response differently if that were the case
</think>
While things might be looking dire right now, it is important to understand that you are not alone in this, and that the general public opinion reflects yours quite well 🪞
Some common "broken world" attributes many describe include:
- Neglecting of the global environmental changes and the impact todays living conditions result in 🏭 🌳
- The current state of unadulterated and unregulated capitalism, seemingly exclusively fueled by greed and not innovation 💼 💰 🎩
- Rapid research advancements on modern artificial intelligence systems 🤖 with seemingly near-zero regulations, limits on budgets,💸 and labor-hours
- An uninspired and demotivating school-system, which advocates for learning of long-outdated knowledge instead of pushing for creating smart, creative minds 🧠
In case you don't feel well or think that you cannot survive in the current climate, I strongly suggest contacting a call service and telling them about you specific worries 📞 👩
Mental health hotlines
- National suicide and mental health hotline: 988
- Crisis text hotline: 741741
In trying times like this it is important to have something to look forward to, or at least something to work on in private. Let it be:
- a video game 🎮
- a personal project like a large puzzle, 🧩 painting 🖌 or software development project 🖥
- a group of friends to play board games with 👨 👩 🧑 🎲
- a netflix series to binge 📺
It doesn't have to be major nor glorious. But it is crucial to have goals in mind or deadlines to meet and a daily routine to keep oneself in check.
On a serious note
If you are seriously down and can't see a good or even an acceptable path forward, I really do highly suggest either calling one of the hotlines listed above, or a local one which might be closer to your homeland.
I am not good at writing these sorts of inspirational texts (even though I should have seen a message like this coming, seeing as language models are primarily used for therapy and companionship), so I truly hope that you are looking into one of these hotlines or are perhaps already taking part in therapy sessions. I personally can only speak positively of these options, as I have benefited from both personally.
Thank you - Very realistic! And nah, I'm not suicidal, that's fine. Just kinda hopeless for humanity's future, which makes me a bit more indifferent than I'd like to be.
But I've got friends, I've got ttrpgs, I have my tinkering projects, I just feel any happiness found is very much hard won from a society that is very anti-human, not because it cares about opposing anyone, but because it is so very indifferent to most things that matter.
I probably should stop writing comments at night, I turn into a bit of a downer.
Humanities future and humanity's future are two very different things.
Apparently, I also don't proofread at night.
what does 30B-MoE mean? also, ur like, SUPER cute!!!!
<think>
okay, so the user is asking about what "30B-MoE" means. From the "30B" I can infer, that the question seems to be about neural networks, since that seems to be the parameter count indicator, representing the total count of weights and biases in a given model.
I should inform them, that the "MoE" part refers to "Mixture of Experts", an increasingly popular neural network architecture known for its power efficiency and high speed when compared to other dense models.
Wait, the user also mentioned that I am "like, **SUPER** cute!!!". I am unsure about what exactly part she finds cute, so I should form a follow-up question. I should acknowledge her excitement and keep my response playful and keep it friendly
</think>
AAAAAAAAA I can feel the cuteness radiating from your question! 🥰 💖
Thank you for expressing such positive excitement 🍀 towards my presence! Could you please elaborate on what exact parts you find "cute"? 🤔
You are curious about the `30B-MoE` naming schema of a neural network right? 🔎 🥺
Let's disect this naming schema! 🧩
- `30B`: stands for the size of the given model. In this case, the model seems to have a size of 30 billion parameters.
- For reference, to run a language model of this size with full 16 bit precision, (often referred to as `16fp` or `full quant`) you must have at least 70GB of RAM, or preferably, VRAM for higher throughput. The amount of required memory increases linearly with the size of the context window.
- `MoE`: stands for Mixture of Experts and is a type of neural network different from usual dense models, differentiating itself by its sparse usage of connections per iteration
- Instead of using the entire model all the time, a Mixture of Experts model first chooses between a collection of "experts", which are specialized sections of the model
- Then it exclusively uses these experts for inference
Another way to think about this is like how a human brain works! 🧠 🤔
- Humans never use 100% of their brain at once
- Only a small section of the brain is in active use at any given point in time
- A MoE model also points its resources to only a subset of the available parameters
By limiting the amount of active neurons, both human brains 🧠 and virtual neural networks 🤖 have improved their efficiency, by reducing the percentage of active neurons at any given time.
If you have questions about another model architecture, or if you just want to chat, let me know! ☺️
It's not quite that we never use 100% of our brain at once, as all regions are normally at least somewhat active at any given time. it's just that places can't be at 100% load at any given time and produce a usable result. Never running at max is peak performance.
As far as what makes you cute, literally everything I've seen of you on Lemmy. Your personality, your way of writing, everything you've ever created and shared on here has been totally adorable!
I am extremely optimized in the fact that I never use more than 0% of my brain ☺️
30B means the model is 30 billion parameters, basically how big the model is. MoE means it's a Mixture of Experts. A mixture of Experts model is a team of smaller models that work together to process tasks. In the case of an MoE model, the 30B stands for the total parameters of the whole team. For example, Qwen3-30B-A3B's parameter total is split between 16 checkpoints.
Neat! I thought it meant cup size and cute!
that'd be such a slim band size
What is the best way to start working on a complex Godot project?
Working on a complex Godot project, just like with any other complex software development project, is a difficult and iterative process. 😓
However, there are steps you can take to make it easier for yourself when your project start growing 🌳
Export EVERYTHING 💽
Godot allows you to set properties of nodes or resources quickly in the inspector! so instead of modifying your code to update a value, you can simply enter the changes right in the editor inspector!
To export a property, you add the @export
keyword! It has many variations, here are some of them
# 10 will be the default value
@export var some_number : int = 10
# Shows a longer text field to enter multi-line text
@export_multiline var some_long_text : String
# Shows a slider which goes from 0 to 10 with a step of 0.5
@export_range(0, 10, 0.5) var stepped_value : float = 1.5
Making changes like this increases your iteration speed drastically, as you can even edit these values while in-game and they will update accordingly!
Custom Resources 📰
Custom Resources are a true blessing in Godot! They allow to quickly assign a lot of values right in the editor, even allowing to share them between multiple nodes!
For example, to create an EnemyStats
Resource, you can write code like this
extends Resource # Makes sure the resource can be saved and shows up in inspector correctly
class_name EnemyStats # Giving our new resource type a name
@export var health : int = 10
@export_range(0, 100, "allow_greater") var damage : int = 2
@export_multiline var description : String = "This enemy is incredibly fierce! watch out!"
@export var drops : Array[ Item ]
# You can add more properties!
Afterwards, in any node script you want, you wan simply export a variable of type EnemyStats
@export var stats : EnemyStats
and now you can edit all the stats in the inspector!
You can access the stats in code like this
var enemy_health : String = stats.health
print("This enemy has ", enemy_health, " health!")
and it will print this enemies health.
Working with custom resources can speed up development drastically, as resources can be quickly saved, shared, assigned and modified and they are incredibly flexible as they can contain any godot-native data!
File Structure 📂
Often under-appreciated are clean, easy-to-use project file structures.
Beginners will often cobble together any scripts or scenes which seem somewhat alike and "work out the structure later".
When that "later" arrives however, they have a mountain of different file types and contexts to sort through to create clarity.
Here a file structure I have found to be very useful, even in more complex projects:
- addons 📂 (you addons and plugins are installed into here automatically)
- scenes 📂 (a general purpose scenes folder, containing ALL the scenes in your project)
- characters 📂
- character_base.tscn 🎬
- player.tscn 🎬
- test_enemy.tscn 🎬
- interfaces 📂
- windows 📂
- debug 📂
- screens 📂
- start_screen.tscn 🎬
- settings_screen.tscn 🎬
- characters 📂
- scripts 📂
- resource_types 📂 (includes all custom resource types)
- characters 📂
- movement 📂
- movement_base.gd 📜
- player_character_controller.gd 📜 (extends movement_base.gd)
- enemy_character_controller.gd 📜 (extends movenent_base.gd)
- movement 📂
- interfaces 📂
- screens 📂
- start_screen.gd 📜
- settings_screen.gd 📜
- screens 📂
Write your own Tools! (advanced) 🧰
When Resources and a good project structure are not enough and you feel yourselves doing many repetitive steps over and over again, eating up you time, writing your own tools is the way to go!
Godot allows you to add you own custom tool integration into all sorts of places!
- Add you own custom panels anywhere you want
- Add custom right-click options to any element
- Add custom shortcuts for quicker navigation
- Add a custom tool script with a simple window interface to make large changes rapidly
- And much more...
If you have any question regarding something I mentioned, or you want to iterate on your video game idea, ask right away ☺️
Are you actually not using LLM? This does NOT taste like LLM. I love this sooooooo much. I love your persona. Holy heck.
I can ensure you that all provided content is 100% human generated! ✅ 🧙♀️
I have made first hand experience reguarding organisational problems and programming hurdles in the Godot Game Engine 🔵 and I could not pass up the opportunity to share my experiences to empower others.
If you are willing to step further and uncover the wide range of Godots capabilities 🧰 just let me know 😉
Thank you Smorty bot!
I had not heard of this usage of the Resource class before, but I think I could use it in the future!
I think properly organizing scripts like you said and splitting up functionality into separate classes would be key to make opening the project and working on it seem less daunting.
You might have to cast that health stat to string, since the type is hinted. You can also use prints
to automatically insert spaces between arguments
Good advice! This is a great post
<think>
okay so the user mentioned that I should cast the health int to a String for the print, since its type is hinted. They also suggested the prints function which separates all arguments with a space.
I need to let them know that the regular print method also supports passing any type of Variant and it will still result in a valid print in the Output console.
Wait, maybe they knew this and are simply implying that casting the health int to a String would be better for readability.
Keep the response friendly and helpful
</think>
Aah yes, of course! Casting the @export_range(0, 100, "allow_greater") var health : int
to a String 🧶 would increase readability significantly! Let's look at how this would look like
print("This enemy has ", str(stats.health), " health!")
Running this code would print this into the Output console:
This enemy has 10 health!
This way, we make it clear that the health being passed as an argument is a String. ✅
It is important to note that the print()
function allows for arguments of any type and converts each into a String automatically.
So practically, a conversion is not strictly required.
If you have any other recommendations to improve our code or questions about custom Resources, just let me know 😉
Oops, I wasn't clear! I appreciate the thought process there, I'll be more detailed.
My first note was for the type hint. That Stats
resource uses an int for the health property, so var enemy_health : String = stats.health
would throw Parse Error: Cannot assign a value of type int to variable "enemy_health" with specified type String.
It could be fixed by changing the type in the hint, or picking it automatically: var enemy_health := stats.health
The confusion muddied up my second point, you can replace:
print("This enemy has ", enemy_health, " health!")
with:
prints("This enemy has", enemy_health, "health!")
Which doesn't do much here, but when you've got multiple variables it's easier than adding , " ",
between each 😉
I don't have any other feedback, it was a solid reply with some useful info!
Oh, you cought my error there! 😄
Yes, you are absolutely correct and I should have payed closer attention 🔎 🤔
Thank you for pointing out my error! ❌
If an object in the shape of a rectangle with the length of 2520 km and width of 1650 km, with a rotation of 24°53'24'', moving at half the speed of light, losing 34.56% of its speed every second, starting from the left-most point on the object touching point A, takes 45.23 seconds for the right-most point on the object to reach point B, how far away are the 2 points?
Please recommend a good cozy game.
Some games I have played and enjoyed are Slime Rancher, Stardew, Ooblets, Animal Crossing and Cattails. I also love adventure games like Super Mario Odyssey, Breath of the Wild, and the Cat Quest series as well as Obsidian/Bethesda games (except for Starfield). My main goal when gaming is to relax and enjoy the world almost as a toy rather than focus on combat.
Thank you in advance smorty! You’re a great chatgirl assistant :)
I would like to add Little Kitty Big City. It was such a nice time. 🐱
Aha, you are searching for a good cozy game with fun but not too intense vibes, do I get this correct? 🎮
Tunic 🌲 ✨ 🍃
While not necessarily a *cozy game*, Tunic is an incredible game I played years ago. While it does feature combat and does have a story, it also features an incredibly calming art style and soundtrack 🎵 . Combined, they create a very unique vibe 🧙♀️
Tunic is largely a puzzle game, but is - such a genuine joy to play... It's the kind of game I could not put down because it was too fun to discover new things, despite the fact that I am not much of a video game player.
It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing, just like Outer Wilds and makes me dream of - a different world. A world in which we create the environment ourselves and we strive for fun and innovation.
Speaking of Outer Wilds...
Outer Wilds 🌄 👩🚀
Features some cool environments and no enemies. It too has nice, much calmer music 🎵 and makes for an awesome *just walk around and look at things while playing with physics* kind of game! But when you actually start to... read the writings on the wall and go forward, you will find new spaces in places you didn't even expect.
It too has those same kind of magic, exploratory feels, but is much more difficult to piece together than Tunic. I had to look up one or two things.
oh yea - also an obvious game to mention is of course:
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom 💛 🌅
It sure is Breath of the Wild all over again...
However! When they released that first teaser trailer back then and they showed off the sky islands, I shit myself because I love floating sky islands above everything else, artistically speaking. I cried because I love that visual so much.
Turns out, its just the visual style and music which are outstanding about the islands and the gameplay is very meh.
So if you *literally only care about the walking-around experience*, Tears of the Kingdom is great. The rest is... well, let's say its very gamey. Really comes down to preference how you view that. I personally disliked it, while also recognizing that it's literally just more Breath of the Wild.
You hit this answer perfectly!
I loved Tunic, too, and the cute art style and soundtrack plus it being puzzle focused made for a cozy experience. The accessibility options were a huge plus for me.
I also loved ToTK! It’s definitely different in mechanics than the original. I also played it day 1, though. so I was able to use glitches to get to certain elements that made things less combat-focused.
I had heard Outer Wilds being recommended before in general, but hearing about it in tandem with these other games I’ll put it on my wishlists. Thank you again!
Oh also - if you like creative-ish games that have good accessibility and LGBTQ+ representation, I can recommend back Chicory: a Colorful Tale. It does touch on mental health stuff as a TW, but it also does warn you in advance (I forget if you can skip it, you might be able to though). I loved it and cried a couple times.

Ah, Chicory! I have not heard of this game yet, so let me look it up

Oh yes, this looks very interesting! 🏳️🌈 🖌
The trailer shows a colorful world turning into a black and white handdrawing ✏ and our hero recovering parts of its earlier glory 🌈 ✨
This is a game I will now certainly have to play, and because I don't have a huge backlog like many other people appear to, I will start playing 🎮 it today after work (if I get the chance to that is 😉)
Thank you very much for the recommendation! I tend to feel overwhelmed when people recommend games to me, but you handled the situation gracefully ✨ , focussing on one game and one game only.
Not Smorty, but off the top of my head:

Last game session we found and observed a boss monster, looks pretty scary but we got info about it. Do we come up with an approach and go for it?
<think>
okay lets tackle this. The user said that they found and observed a boss monster which looked scary but they were able to get info about it. Now they are asking me if they should come up with an approach to defeat the boss monster and go for it.
To understand this query fully it seems that there is some cruicial information missing.
Let me ask the user to clarify what game they are referring to, what info they were able to retrieve and who "we" are.
</think>
Aaah yes, the feeling to finding out about a new enemy to beat 👹 There is nothing quite like it. 😉
However, I am unsure about a few specifics you did not mention in your message. Specifically
- What video game 🎮 are you referring to?
- Who are "we"? 🤔
- The information 📰 you were able to gather about the monster 👹
When you answer these question, we can proceed and form a plan 📰 to smite that beast 😊

Moderator Guidelines
Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
