When I try to submit a post or comment containing the string [slash]etc[slash] passwd, the submit button goes into a loading state and spins indefinitely. The request is blocked by Cloudflare with status code 403. I can't even search for the forbidden string. You have to check dev tools to find out what went wrong, this error is not handled in the UI at all.

So, if you've ever tried to reply to a tech issue and the UI just won't let you, maybe this is why.

In my view, this is unacceptable...

They changed my background (previously there was a default blue window), placed an icon in the bottom corner of the screen that read "Learn more about this photo", and re-added the search bar that I had previously removed.

Fortunately, I don't have to deal with this on a daily basis.

I grab a cup coffee from a shop and it's ruined because the barista is wearing cologne or perfume that inevitably has gotten on the cup and it's all I can smell when I take a sip. I guess 2 things, this means 1 they haven't thoroughly washed their hands, and 2 I can't drink the coffee because it smells so bad and I have to throw it out. Not sure why, but I haven't had this happen with any other type of food/drink, just coffee.

Just because a 3060ti is technically capable of ray tracing doesn't mean I want you to keep turning it on every time the driver gets an update.

No, I don't want to design a logo for a coffee shop in fucking skype.

Every app has to have fucking AI now for some reason.

I might be stupid, but doesn't "double" mean there's more of it?

So I was shopping with my wife today and I said "oh let's see if my membership helps out." So we went and added the same item to each of our carts, and to our surprise, the total was the same! So what is it exactly that I'm paying for in this membership if the items "original price" is higher for me than it is for regular shoppers?

Why can you never change your username in Mastodon, Lemmy or Peertube? Is it a condition introduced by ActivityPub or a forgotten feature?

I've been using Brave Search supplemented by Startpage for the past 2+ years. When I search for something, I want to get results for credible webpages, not a summary of unknown quality. I liked the previous AI inclusion because it was instant, didn't take up much space, and I could quickly navigate to the websites referenced in it, but with the new feature it takes up more space, is slower, and not really what I want out of a search engine.

As soon as the feature was rolled out I disabled it in settings, but the AI button stays visible, I get autocomplete specifically for Answer with AI and I get frequent notifications to try out the new AI feature. An opt-out toggle should not mean that I still am pestered to use the feature I opted out of.

This is really annoying, and I'm probably going to end up switching to Startpage or SearXNG or something.

I was in a rush and I needed to pick up a quick snack that I could eat during class. I chose these Nature Valley bars which said they had ten bars inside. What I failed to notice is the tiny print at the bottom where it says 5 x 2, i.e., 5 packets with two bars.

Lo and behold when I open a pack during a break, I find two bars inside. I didn't want to eat two bars, just one. You can't even just leave the other fucking bar inside because they create so MANY crumbs. How the fuck are you supposed to seal it???

Stupid-ass deceptive printing got the better of me. It's not the end of the world, just mildly infuriating.
