Crying every night before sleeping. Still trans tho
Visiting my parents this week for Thanksgiving. Last night my dad asked when I'm going to get my hair cut (I started growing it out three years ago to donate; I still fully intend to do that, but I also grew it out for me). When I mentioned early next year, he said guys are going to start hitting on me soon, then laughed.
While I'm sure he was trying to shame me with that comment, I'll take it as a compliment since it means I'm looking pretty fem now. So I'm happy.
Got pulled over by a cop for the first time since transitioning. My ID has my old name / face, so I was terrified. I'm in a rural area with a large MAGA presence.
He was incredibly kind, apologized for being "disrespectful" when confirming my legal name, and then asked for a preferred name to use. I ended up not getting a ticket, and he called me ma'am when we parted ways.
The rest of my week was also great, if uneventful.
Bad.

Pretty good, I'd say! My insurance has agreed to cover my GRS after all and now I'm waiting for the doctor to respond to my email with a surgery date, she was on vacation until Wednesday. On Tuesday, I got a large new tattoo that took the entire day. That was very exhausting but I'm very happy with it, it's an abstract flower on the side of my thigh and some lines that connect to an older tattoo around my ankle. I also went to the Christmas Market for the first time this year and bought some cool leopard fur gloves, they're so warm and look great! Also had a laser session and I think I'm almost done now, maybe 1-2 more sessions. Feels a bit weird to not go to my laser lady anymore, I've grown quite fond of her.
better than last week
i think a fail safe or whatever kicked in my brain that kept me from feeling stuff, i was able function properly
got an appointment with my psychiatrist and holy crap her price have gone up (by 100%), hopefully that will be the last time i see a psychiatrist for a while
