Spouse and I threw a small dinner party for the friends I'm out to but haven't seen yet. They're all a class act! Everyone walked in and had a fun evening without even bringing up the fact that I neither look nor sound the way I used to. We had an amazing meal with SO MUCH PIE. I ran 10 miles today just to try to burn off the pie. Well, also to train for a half marathon soon, but mostly because of pie.
Every day is a cheat day when there's pie!
Just about done renewing my Sec+ certification, then its tine to freak out and directly tackle the fact that i should have been job hunting since April and have done absolutely nothing to even work towards that. Hate the idea of potentially moving back in with parents, it was horrible for my mental health and i was a far angrier person before i moved out ☹️
Thought the weather was cooling off, but fuck me its supposedly going to be in the 90s for the next couple weeks
Oh and I'm another year older. depressed kazoo noises
Went to a geeky queer event, yay!
Got overwhelmed and now Im dysphoric, not so yay.
But actually going out to a thing and say hi was pretty neat.
For me it’s less “how has your week been” and more “how has your month been”. I recently (in the last 2 months I think) posted samples of my female voice and have finally gathered enough courage to use my voice full time starting at the beginning of August. So it has been more than a month now that I’ve been using my new voice 24/7. I’ve also enjoyed going out more by playing Magic at local game stores and the community there is really great and they pretty much all get my pronouns right right at the start or after some small corrections and it only got better with my new voice.
So I would say it’s been pretty good!
congrats on the voice training progress, that's huge!!
Thank you! It was also one of my New Year’s resolutions
I bought and ate all the food and now I'm four pounds fatter, I need to start tracking my calories again 😅
After this weekend's festivities, I've done the same!
