I have, more or less, lost all hope for my transition. I am the same place now as I was ten months ago. I don't sound right, I don't look right, I don't feel right. Everyone else is moving on further and faster, and seems to be getting more results from less work.

I just want to go in to hiding and let everyone forget I exist.

Was interesting to find out that I am trans last week. I won't get to do shit about it till I move out for university in a year(I will be 19) but I have a supportive group of friends so coming out to them wasn't too bad. Plan is to start DIY and also start with a therapist and eventually move to offical channels.

Welcome :3

Good job figuring it out early! I hope everything goes well.

thanks :3 :3 :3 .Is 18 really early? I have read online that people even tend to think it's too old

I mean, some people figure it out before puberty, but it's faster than me at 40! And there are many people transitioning much later still. Enjoy being young and pretty!

There is still time

18 is so young, what I would give to transition then, lol

Amazing. I have friends and I feel good and capable of doing what i'm supposed to and it all just feels so nice i'm rolling in it like a pup.

I feel like i'm finally getting to the top of mazlow's pyramid and all the therapy and effort are paying off big time.

Now if only my wife was attracted to women things would be perfect.

Tell me about it! Although mine hasn't seen much in me as a man (at least after 30), so maybe I'll have more luck without the disguise :3

My fingers are crossed for you. I remain optimistic for my situation but c'est la vie.

Read Infinity Alchemist. Hit a bit too close to home relationship-wise.

Weather is finally cooling off and I'm sleeping better as a result 🫠

Can't stand summer as a season, looking to try to move further north in the next couple years (don't wanna still be in Ohio by the time I'm 30), not in the cards this apartment-lease-renewal. Want to not live in a red-state too.

Had my appointment at the gender clinic at last! Blood test to check my karotype, then if there are no problems he'll prescribe as much injectable estradiol, progesterone and so on as I want 😁 A much better result than I was expecting -- I can live with a few weeks' wait until I get the results.

Dr: "Have you tried more feminine clothes, make up and so on?"
Me, wearing full foundation, eyeliner and mascara: natural-style make up success! Guess my current not-too-obvious style is actually not-feminine-at-all...

Doing okay I guess. Got harassed on Twitter yesterday by some right wing chud claiming that I'll always have male genitals (really hope he's wrong and I'll be able to get surgery in the future 😭 )

[-] dandelion 1 points 1 month ago

I think they might mean that even if you get surgery, the neo-vagina is still "male genitals". This comes from a warped "normative" view of the genitals, that even if you have a vagina it's like you "should" have a penis, so the underlying truth is still that your genital sex is male, even after surgery. It's an unfortunately common default view people have, that what you "really" are is what your genitals are, and that this is inherent and essential and unchangeable.

Either way, I'm sorry you are being harassed, I hope you blocked them and ignored it.

[-] Blazingtransfem98@discuss.online 2 points 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago)

Their exact words were "You are a freak who is pretending to be a woman, you are a man and will never be a woman" I then told them I'm getting bottom surgery to correct the problem they said "That's not a thing, you were born with a penis and testicles and you'll always have a penis and testicles. Facts over feelings." I can't say what they said afterwards because it had a lot of slurs. Suffice to say they weren't smart enough to be saying my genitals will be male sex, they just meant I would always have a penis.

Yeah I did block them, and reported them. Doubt anything will happen to them for it though. Twitter sucks.
