Probably should 'acquire' this one if you don't want to give money to a misogynist who is problematic in other ways too: Falling Out of Love with Jackie Chan

Came here to say this.

Wait, who drew this almost accurate picture of us and our multiple arms?

[-] oftheair 2 points 1 day ago

Silly humans, for us non-humans bog is friend, not food.

We wouldn't say length of existence of anything has much correlation to how much 'badness' it can achieve, especially not a 'nation'.

Yes, we are a mind hive (the 'opposite' to a hive mind). To be more specific we are plural as it says on our profile which anybody can read on here.

Dating app developers are bad at security as they think nobody can get into the endpoint or backend without the app, they think in terms of obscurity being security. But they are very wrong.

If governments used taxes to better people's lives and not to enrich themselves, their buddies and corporations. If they didn't do means testing for benefits (or better yet scrapped benefits and implimented UBI etc instead) etc then taxes would look a lot more appealing but they either don't care or are intentionally callous.

Sure... they are pretty bad. We are not sure if saying they are worse than other states really does anything or not if all states are bad.

[-] oftheair 12 points 3 days ago

Yes. Most of the 'west' is though. To be honest some of the 'east' is too. Most governments have done this or equally bad things. This isn't to excuse the 'US' more highlighting that there is a problem with building a group of people into an organisation that gets to make all the decisions about both a certain group or certain groups of people supposedly under their care, and who make decisions about how they should 'deal' with other groups of people.

[Sarcasm] It's almost like making arbitrary lines on pieces of paper and then isolating yourself somewhat or completely from people outside of those lines and being selfish instead of sharing is a bad idea.

Wow, this is hilarious 🤣.

We see a lot of posts here which are obviously referring to a specific gender or certain wants for transitioning, yet nobody seems to be using the CWs that the rules say should be used.

Why is this exactly? Should we be trying to point this out when people posting here don't? If they aren't ever used why do we have them as rules?

A great video about how fandom really doesn't know how to handle asexual characters in media and likes to sexualise them regardless. There is nothing wrong with this in the sense of exploring identity etc in fan fiction inherently as long as they don't pretend that it's ever going to happen in canon or shout down asexuals who would like some characters that are canonically like them for once.
