My only transition regrets are not doing things sooner, either for financial reasons or because I was afraid of coming out to family.

I feel like I should have found other trans people to talk with irl earlier. I don't think I was fully ready until recently tho.

I wish I had taken the social aspect of my transition a little slower. I wish I had come out to fewer people at a time, and waited until I was more confident in myself to come out to my family.

I struggled with the loss of perceived queerness when I was dating men, which was a bit of a shock given that I had just worked through a lot to accept my attraction to men, and to learn to love and celebrate my queerness.

Suddenly being seen as straight, and having my queerness be largely invisible to people really shook me.

Finally coming out, just as anti-trans attacks in the US are on the rise. Past that, I am happier than ever :).
