A 31-year-old Florida man
Anyone else go straight to what state it’s in and you’re never surprised? It’s always the ones you most expect.
Yeah it’s from an arrest record, which is public in Florida. Which is why people associate crazy with it. Promise people are equally stupid elsewhere.
Walking around like regular people. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they're stupid.
I actually expected it to be Texas.
That’s why I said “it’s always the ones you most expect,” plural.
There are a few states where I could see this happening.
Totally not fragile. Nope.
I wish I could understand how the impulse to behave this way is not immediately curtailed by the embarrassment of it. Was there a timeline in this man's head where he could throw his tea at the flag, tear it off the wall, and then just go about his day?
Imagine going to work - in a funeral parlour of all places - and having your colleagues know that decor in a private establishment was enough to make you blow a gasket. What if a grieving client puts a pride next to their loved one during a service? I'd be so embarrassed I would resign and move to a different state.
The sad truth is that many Republicans simply don't feel shame. I don't know if it's some developmental issue from their upbringing or just an inability to connect their actions to future consequences, but once you realize they are deficient it explains so many of their crashouts.
Seems directly related to their lack of empathy.
I'd replace it with two LGBTQ flags.
Every time they rip one down, two go up
Replace it with another version of the pride flag
Offensive to whom?

Respect the people who belong here. If you're confused what that means, here's a minor primer:
No asking to date trans people or otherwise meet up with them. No treating being transgender as a mental illness or as being lesser in any way. No arguing with trans people about their identity. No arguing with trans people about their vulnerabilities, including anything related to sports, laws, etc. This includes anything else that the mod team deems disrespectful.

Posts should be related to the defense, advocacy, and restoration of LGBTQ+ rights.
This Community is for news regarding, as well as the discussion of, anti LGBTQ+ laws, hate crimes, and propaganda.
