Some indie games do have a publisher. It's usually a smaller publisher but still a publisher.
PAYED
indie target audience should read "a second, equally beautiful transgender"
otherwise this is good
I'm an indie dev who's not trans, and my target audience is "whoever likes my games, IDK".
"office supplies company trying to diversify portfolio" describes some real gems of video games
i would tentatively place Super Beat Sports in there, its on Switch now but it was written as a rhythm game for Apple TV
Kingdoms of Amalur was funded as a state tax write off and almost bankrupted Rhode Island, hands down one of the greatest games there has ever been.
Let us not forget that the original Kerbal Space Program was made by a team in a marketing company.
There are two types of indie games, cozy games for transbians and ultrakill
stardew for transbians and ultrakill for femboys
they even sell official ultrakill booty shorts
https://newbloodstore.com/collections/ultrakill/products/ultrakill-booty-shorts
croptops too
https://newbloodstore.com/collections/ultrakill/products/ultrakill-ultracrop
Idk as a Transfem, very tempting :3
don't let your dreams be dreams, go buy those booty shorts Queen ✨
Which one is Dwarf Fortress?
Yes
Cozy game obviously.
The real magic starts when you assemble 7 beautiful european transgenders but the world is not ready for this probably
African... Eurasian... American... Oceanian...
Long ago, the four transgenders lived together in harmony.
I'm drunk, but "Team Size: 7 Europeans" for AA is killing me.
I'm sober and it holds up
The second ugliest assets you've ever seen inside the unreal engine with motion blur
Don't forget DLSS ghosting artifacts!
And forced on TAA like you've just been slapped in the eyes.
seven europeans my beloved, thank you for factorio
The dev is a massive bigot :(
Oh what? That's disappointing.
I feel less guilty about pirating it now.
Future Prospects:
- Bankrupt or bought out by AAA within a year
- Makes 2 more great releases, then see previous
- Makes 5 formulaic releases with a team size that halves each iteration, or engages actively in 1-year contracts or hire-and-dump schemes
Indie technology: Either Godot, some other smaller open source engine, or some heavily specialized open source solution that can only do a few kinds of games but has a small footprint.
Or they write it without an engine.
Space Station 14 my dearly beloved,
And also mindustry
ConcernedApe 🥰
Okay I gotta ask since I've seen it a bunch recently but when did transgender as a noun become accepted. It's an adjective. I've seen trans people be called a Trans multiple times recently and it never got challenged but it always feels icky to me. I'm a transgender woman or a trans woman for short. If you want to shorten it further you may call me a woman but not a trans
I think the usage there isn't meant to be correct, but incorrect as a joke. It's like how I've seen people call themselves a tran. (Trans is obviously plural.)
Metroid and Zelda baby games? We gonna need to have a word with your friend...
If their friend can beat original Metroid without a walk through, I will consider their opinion. It's still wrong but I will consider it.
Metroid got me with the Bomb in the crystal hall, I admit I did not thought of that and got stuck.

Moderator Guidelines
Moderator Guidelines
- Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
- Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
- When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
- Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
- Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
- Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
- Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
- Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
