Desired paths sounds weirder to me. I think desire here is a noun and not a verb, like "love affair" vs "loved affair".
The law change will introduce a minimum age limit for using the devices at 15 years old, as well as placing a Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) limit of 0.5 g/l on scooter drivers.
They also pointed out that other countries in Europe set the age between 12 and 16.
I have mixed feelings about this. When I was that age, I had a bike and used it as my main mode of transportation. Is a scooter significantly more dangerous? I suppose it must be, if kids are getting injured at the rates they are.
And kids can still operate non-motorized bikes, scooters, etc.

I generally use queer.
It's often used in the names of university programs (e.g. queer studies), so I think it's been pretty well reclaimed.
It is also intuitively inclusive of romantic minorities, which gives me the sense it will continue to be inclusive as the aforementioned acronym continues to grow.
An aside, I'm also all for reclaiming the t-slur (I am trans) but I don't use it unless I am certain the people around me won't be hurt.

Settled on it after 2 years of Dvorak, 1 year of Colemak, and 1 month of Workman.
Though, I mainly use Plover stenography when I'm working, Norman for gaming, and Qwerty on mobile or as-needed (e.g. other people's computers or while taking notes on my iPad for D&D)
