It's honestly so wild to live in a post-meaning world. Words are just frivolous, how they're used so vague and broad, that we no longer have a shared, fact-based reality. We live in a mad, mad world.

yeah you can't satirize the republicans. they're more ridiculous than whatever funny skit you can come up with.

that's partly why people didn't like Don't Look Up that much. it was supposed to be a ridiculous caricature of the way people tend to avoid uncomfortable truths like climate change. ended up being so similar to the real thing people thought it was too on the nose and obvious. the real world caught up and surpassed the satire.
