What does "implement public health" entail or mean? Is this a process, best practices, an agency, something else? I'm not really sure what it's referring to.
Not sure how you could possibly not understand this:
1.) You get a bunch of public health together in a big pile.
2.) And then you implement it.
I would suggest step 1b - set up guards around the big pile of public health, so that sick peole can't steal public health before you can implement it.
A neat trick is to keep some of the public health and put it in a Trap. Then when people come looking for public health they enter the trap and are now forced to pay for private health!

God, we're really right back in the first trump era. Every day bad shit happening and everyone just jokes about it and moves on to the next bad shit happening.
This is already worse and we still have 4 years minus most of 1 month to go.
We're only 8 days in.

Look for your local Food not bombs or mutual aid groups, they're a great entry point into getting into the world of direct action, where communities attempt to solve problems without waiting and hoping that corrupt and ineffective government to fix it for them.
If you live in a very rural area where you can't find an existing group to join, I would implore you to try starting one yourself, hopefully with a group of like minded friends if you can.
Building up your community and making genuine connections will pay off in dividends in the coming years, do not underestimate how powerful doing so can be.

I'm just not that "type" of person, so I'm truly holding myself back from saying something about this to my conservative relatives.
Just like when Biden was president, I know for a fact that the price of eggs is not a thing that the president controls, but you would have thought it was based on how conservatives presented things the past 4 years.
All of a sudden my conservative family and friends are either quiet on the topic or they've had a revelation that the prices are due to external factors like bird flu / supply & demand and that the current president has little to do with things. Funny how that works.
They voted for the guy that said he'd lower prices. They voted for the guy that they swear "life was better under".
The difference is, I can afford as many eggs as I want at these prices without even noticing. They can't.
But didn't you say it was blahblahs fault and not because of supply and demand, then just keep saying that while laughing at them, it wouldnt effect a normal person but shit like that breaks down maga ppl, you just gotta act like a bully on a playground, keep repeating yourself, dont let them speak, etc. they always break when you use their own tactics agains them insanely fast and kinda sad to see

- Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
- Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
- Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
- Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
- First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
- Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
- No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
- Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
- Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
