It could be, but not necessarily. Everyone I've met has had a unique experience of dysphoria. What is deeply dysphoric for one person can be a non-issue for another, or even a positive.
I can't tell if this is saying that "human biology" is taking the book personally, or if the bigots are taking human biology personally
