It really is never too late! After watching that TV Glow movie my egg cracked while listening to Red Wine Supernova.

Once that happened it was about 30 days to get my first patch. My cholesterol was awful and they said i was probably going to need statin drugs and no monotherapy until I got it fixed.

I asked for a chance to fix it through dietary changes . They told me it was possible but unlikely. Well i did it. All I had to do was give up meat, dairy, weed and alcohol and restrict calories a bit and exercise a bunch. Easy! Well it was because I wanted to be a girl more than anything else. I switch from the patch to monotherapy in a couple weeks!

It is never too late, dare to be your true self and delight in gender euphoria every day if you can get it!!!

You are absolutely GLOWING!

[-] ValenThyme@reddthat.com 4 points 23 hours ago

🩷 thanks i feel it inside!

[-] ChaoticNeutralCzech@feddit.org 4 points 1 day ago

Is it the lighting or did you also get 10 years younger?

[-] Kyatto@leminal.space 7 points 1 day ago

Going from testosterone dominance to estrogen does make you look much younger, speaking from experience. Everyone greatly underestimates my age.

thank you!

no filter but i did use the magic wand color adjuster and in the right my face is in sunlight coming through a window. I stacked the deck against poor old me.

From apparent man to very obvious woman. Congratulations!

Please continue posting updates. Trans and gender-questioning people are in need of good news right now.

Holy fuck what a makeover! I'm not sure I could give up the dairy, meat and weed. I like cheese, pepperoni and, well, weed, too much. That's incredible.

Edit: I love stories like this because, and hopefully this'll cause euphoria and not dysphoria, I feel like I will never be pretty or beautiful or cute or anything like that; but then I see makeovers like yours and it gives me confidence and hope.

🩵🩷🤍🩷🩵 I didn't think i would ever be pretty or cute and now my wonderful wife and my pretty trans gf both puff me up it's amazing. Inspiring this community the same way it inspired me is exactly what I want; I owe this comm, lemmy in general and the hexbear mega threads a LOT.

I'm not a huge fan of Hexbear, they were... unhinged when I was originally exposed to them. One of the things that concerned me was when they started a beef with Ada (blähaj.zone admin) and another being that they seem to favor accelerationism (let's just burn it all down and start over) over damage reduction (let's try to make sure the system isn't gonna start murdering more people so we can try to organize without the Sword of Damocles hanging over our heads). They also love shit-stirring which... just isn't a thing I think is useful (at the very least, it doesn't work on me, I'll just get annoyed with whoever is doing it). At least, those were the vibes I got from them at the time. It's probably been over a year though, so maybe the attitude has changed *shrug*.

Glad to hear they were able to help you though! Same with your wife and gf! <3

the Trans mega threads on Hexbear are probably my favorite place on lemmy however I have more general hexbear users blocked than everywhere else combined.

the thing is I never see the blocked users replying in the trans megas (you can see that there's a reply you can't open) and I have never had to block anyone in those threads 🤷🏼‍♀️ seems like little overlap between the trans comrades and the rabble rousers.

Alright, cool! That's a good thing to know!

[-] kittenzrulz123 7 points 1 day ago

Why did you post two different people :3

[-] OldEggNewTricks 21 points 1 day ago

Woo! Looking good! A totally different person. (Is it weird that I can't stop seeing the new pic as the cover of a cooking book?)

And a (formerly) high cholesterol high-five, I guess? Hoping I can get off statins soon...

[-] ValenThyme@reddthat.com 7 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

thank you so much!! cooking for others is my passion lol 🩷 good luck with the cholesterol!!

[-] misterdoctor@lemmy.world 12 points 1 day ago

I know it’s a small sample but you seem much more joyful now. Not just the facial expression, but there’s just an intangible joy radiating from you in the second photo. So awesome 👏

I had been waiting to fit in that top for 3 months and I managed to nail my makeup and got a complinent on my outfit from a cute lesbian at the coffee shop by me. I was on cloud 10 😂

[-] misterdoctor@lemmy.world 9 points 1 day ago

Yesss, so happy for you! And for the cute coffee shop lesbian! 😅

[-] challengerzinnia 7 points 1 day ago

Congratulations to ya!

did a double take when I read 130 days - that's a very short amount of time for so much change!

[-] ValenThyme@reddthat.com 16 points 1 day ago

to be a little fair to past me; worse lighting, worse angle, ill fitting clothes and a scowl of despair make me look terrible there. I was still very new to thrifting girl clothes and was struggling. So you're seeing the worst of old me vs the best of new me, but the pose and outfit and lighting were close enough to highlight the transformation and it was the only pic i took on day one i gave up quickly after seeing how it looked.

I did get the shirt on the left either at the same time or very shortly after i have been waiting months for it to fit me and it was worth the wait i love that top so much!

Wild that such a transformation could happen in less than a year. Congrats

also a special shoutout to @EstraDoll@hexbear.net i think it would have taken my egg many more months to crack if I hadn't been jealously following along with her updates!!! You were very inspiring to this egg :)

edit: eventually i will figure out how to actually write a username on another server but apparently that is not today

[-] dandelion 8 points 1 day ago

if you type @ and then start typing the username there is a dropdown of users you can select from.

I think hexbear might be defederated (or whatever the correct term is) from this instance, so that might be why it's not showing up? Or at least that's why I assume I'm not seeing EstraDoll's username in the dropdown results.

Anyway, all the dropdown does when you choose a user is link to the user profile, like:

@EstraDoll@hexbear.net

The CommonMark code for that being:

[@EstraDoll@hexbear.net](https://hexbear.net/u/estradoll)

I don't actually know if this pings the user or not so they know they are being referenced. 🤷‍♀️

If not for the context of where this is being posted, I could have been fooled into believing this was just a before and after picture of an age regression drug that actually worked. 😳

You look amazing girl, so proud of you! 🥹
