I used to keep some spare panties around for periods but I don't have to do that anymore cause I got briefs

Boxer briefs work well too.

The problem with boxer briefs is that the wings of the pad can't wrap around the crotch of the underwear. It technically works, and works better than regular boxers (because they're more form fitting), but I find pads still migrate in boxer briefs.
