i look away from grls so they dun think im weird uncomf ew persn, trynna do evil.

I just wanted to say that this is a fairly universal sapphic feeling amongst both cis and trans women/femmes. Straight men don't really ever think like this.

[-] djsoren19 3 points 2 days ago

Bisexual man, absolutely think like this, and I know plenty of straight men who do. People have treated us like wild beasts for so long that we try our absolute hardest to be invisible so that we don't bother women with our presence.

[-] princessnorah 1 points 2 days ago

You're the exception, not the rule.

[-] djsoren19 2 points 2 days ago

still don't think people should just lie to smorty, and there sure seems to be a lot of exceptions like me.

[-] princessnorah 1 points 2 days ago

I'm sorry but I'm not getting into a "Not All Men" argument with you, especially not when you've already called me a liar when I didn't make a definitive statement. Have a nice day!

yep, can confirm. I've even had cis and trans women/femmes tell me I look great and even hit on my oblivious ass but I still look away, hide my face/body (hoodies yay) from their view and stuff because I'm worried about this exact thing :') you're not alone!!

straight men nevr think "i dun wan be evil" ?

[-] TotallynotJessica 16 points 3 days ago

Few do, and def not to the extent you worry. This is because you are a trans girl who ties up the validity of her gender to not being "horny like a dude." You get serious imposter syndrome from thinking sexual thoughts about women, which believe it or not, is quite common for transfems. To alleviate your dysphoria, you repress the desires you see as masculine.

Honestly, this is all so goofy, because sexual activities and thoughts are perfectly fine and good for folks of all genders to engage in. Your own sexuality is nothing unnatural, evil, or inherently masculine. You're just a useless lesbian like so many of us here :3

[-] princessnorah 6 points 3 days ago

I think the only time it becomes invalid is when you start doing things to someone without consent. But if you're just looking respectfully and thinking thoughts, that's so fine. Flirting as well is more than reasonable, complimenting someone, offering your phone number (never ask for theirs, offering yours lets them choose later). Just don't touch people! ✌️

God that sucks. I could say that you're a wonderful woman temporarily placed into some dudes body which would be true, but I doubt helpful.

I can't know that pain. You're always a pleasure on my feed though and I wish you the best. One day that beautiful lesbian will break out and some girls gonna be lucky to have her.

[-] Aksamit@slrpnk.net 3 points 3 days ago

[-] erotador 10 points 3 days ago

but smorty, your cute and beautiful and such a good lesbian, of course you dont wanna make girls uncomf, because you just get it, do you know why that is, because you are a girl and such a wonderful one at that, and any decent person should recognize that and see past all the flaws you see in yourself, because your not your body, simply contained by it, but that does not mean you need to trap yourself in a box of your own making. i believe in you smorty <3

Moderator Guidelines

  • Don’t be mean to users. Be gentle or neutral.
  • Most moderator actions which have a modlog message should include your username.
  • When in doubt about whether or not a user is problematic, send them a DM.
  • Don’t waste time debating/arguing with problematic users.
  • Assume the best, but don’t tolerate sealioning/just asking questions/concern trolling.
  • Ask another mod to take over cases you struggle with, if you get tired, or when things get personal.
  • Ask the other mods for advice when things get complicated.
  • Share everything you do in the mod matrix, both so several mods aren't unknowingly handling the same issues, but also so you can receive feedback on what you intend to do.
  • Don't rush mod actions. If a case doesn't need to be handled right away, consider taking a short break before getting to it. This is to say, cool down and make room for feedback.
  • Don’t perform too much moderation in the comments, except if you want a verdict to be public or to ask people to dial a convo down/stop. Single comment warnings are okay.
  • Send users concise DMs about verdicts about them, such as bans etc, except in cases where it is clear we don’t want them at all, such as obvious transphobes. No need to notify someone they haven’t been banned of course.
  • Explain to a user why their behavior is problematic and how it is distressing others rather than engage with whatever they are saying. Ask them to avoid this in the future and send them packing if they do not comply.
  • First warn users, then temp ban them, then finally perma ban them when they break the rules or act inappropriately. Skip steps if necessary.
  • Use neutral statements like “this statement can be considered transphobic” rather than “you are being transphobic”.
  • No large decisions or actions without community input (polls or meta posts f.ex.).
  • Large internal decisions (such as ousting a mod) might require a vote, needing more than 50% of the votes to pass. Also consider asking the community for feedback.
  • Remember you are a voluntary moderator. You don’t get paid. Take a break when you need one. Perhaps ask another moderator to step in if necessary.
