Seeing the way things have been going in different countries the last couple of years have given me a newfound gratitude for the country I live in. Even our most right wing party is left wing by any international standard.

The government should find a way to protect the local economy from the influx of tourists that own property in Spain.

That's really interesting. I doubt a comment like this would be allowed to remain on Reddit, which is a shame because it naturally would reach a lot more people.

In addition to the blanket tariffs already announced? Seriously I think that guy might be an evil alien supervillain or something. He seems to be doing his best to ruin the world in any way he can.

That is just... Insane. Incredibly sad.

Took you long enough. We’ve put our lives in the hands of the US for too long, it’s made Europe complacent and now we’re so far behind. We could be equal to or greater than both the US and China, but if we’re honest we have a long way to go.

I got temp banned today because I replied to someone and said that using ivermectin would probably kill them.

I’m done, so fucking done.

For me personally I’d like a 50-60 square meter apartment for no more than 2x my annual income. And I’d like to be able to get a loan with a monthly down payment equal to whatever I’ve been paying in rent for the last couple of years.

I can pay 12500 NOK a month in rent, but for some reason the bank can’t trust me to pay the same amount if I were to buy an apartment? Fuck that.

It doesn't really make sense for Canada to be a member of the EU simply because Canada isn't in Europe. What we could do is grant Canada a deal similar to what Norway has now. We're one of four members of EFTA, which are part of the EEA without being EU members.

I must admit that my knowledge of Canada is shallow at best but my impression is that its overall values align well with western European democracies.

Feeling "deeply concerned" seems like the extent of what the opposition in the US are capable of right now. Such a bummer to see this as a European, whatever happens in the US affects us as well, yet we have no voting rights.

I've been on 11 since before it was officially released. Honestly never had any issues with it, but I'm interested in hearing what sort of issues anyone else might have had? Are we talking about privacy concerns, bugs or performance issues?
