They're the parasite class, we do the work so they can enjoy life. The wealth just makes them lose their mind

I don't think/know of a software union

CWA and IATSE are both in the tech industry, CWA represents over 2000 employees in Microsoft alone.

wouldn't know where to start

CWA offers training!

I'm on visa

Labor law protects everyone in the US, not just citizens, but I will be honest and say that risks to you are higher than normal. Aggressive union busting is a risk every organizer has to take, but just remember that Mother Jones, and several union heroes, were immigrants too in an even more hostile environment.

No, there are not. Form a union, get contractually obligated dignity and respect.

You're asking other people to sacrifice their own life while you pontificate about "sacrifice" in one of the wealthy nations currently facing down fascism.

Diversity, both in tactics and in life, is best. Carry the shield, wield the sword, and don the armor.

It's only awkward if you feel awkward. If you do, take a moment to think about why and then consider talking about it with them

And that's why hornyposting on main is an even worse idea than normal

I love this flow chart. What sucks is being an activist who can no longer be ready to act. I like doing the supporting, and have been conditioned against accepting support for me. Handing myself to my community is pretty difficult to do, but they haven't let me down yet

There's all sorts of action that we can take, but the challenges in prescribing a national plan of action is simply too much without a national organizing committee. One of the most important aspects of successful mass movements requires the participation of labor/unions. That's why, when asked a question like this, I always start by recommending that you form a union at your workplace. Organizing is a skill just like any other, and you can develop it by actively learning in a real campaign. It will give you the toolset and connections necessary to learn how to start political and community organizing. CWA offers a union organizer course every weekend, which is a fantastic starting point to learn how it's done.

If the person was unconscious, what would yelling actually do?
