Cute as a button :3

Thankfully I'm more of album listener than song listener so this happens way less, but still the best I've found so far were:

  • curated playlists, especially those promoting indie artists' new releases (I wish had better source for those than YT)
  • friend group swapping recommendations

I don't think that applies to ADHD related medication in general. Pehaps to stimulant-based ones? Do you have any references on it?

Upvote just for the title

Not the same use-case but I got one of the platic mattress protectors for baby beds/cribs.

I'm afraid plastic/silicone layer sticking to skin may be unavoidable to some extent. Personally I would get something I don't mind staining and wouldn't be hard to clean to put on top, eg. small black or brown microfibre towel.

Another option is to make your skin less adhesive. You can look into the powders designed to make putting on latex clothing easier. A baby powder will possibly work as well though I have no experience with those.

That's very much not the same thing. Hanging things off the belt works much better to replace missing pockets.

Thanks, I was going for that today. 🟨⬜🟪⬛

The annoying one is when they say one thing and then start correcting and apologizing. And I can't stop them to give a 20 minute lecture on gender identity and my lack thereof. (-:

  • Whatsapp started on XMPP
  • Facebook used to have XMPP
  • Google used to have XMPP

It's foolish to think they won't try to put their users back behind a wall once they think they can make more money that way.

My real worry though is with moderation. Will monolith like Meta be willing to respond to complaints from small instance admins? Or will they think that more flamewars = more pageviews = more ads served?

Ditto. And the table for realistic time travel is fairly simple: it's exactly one second per second.

Quoiromantic hello to you back. :-)

I believe it's mostly just poor translation from microblogging world that doesn't have communities/groups per se. What really should be done in Lemmy is user setting of show/hide foreign language posts, defaulting to show. That would keep feeds/walls on other platforms that are part of fediverse working as intended while people that want forum-centric view and come to Lemmy happy.

Also I think you are gravely underestimating amount of non-English speaking people on internet.
