‘Western style democracy’ has never been truly democratic because of how money influences elections and politicians. True democracy isn’t possible as long as there exists a capital class in society. The capital class will not give up its wealth without a class war.

Please, you did paint ada in a bad way and if that was truly unintentional then you should edit that comment and remove the unfounded accusations. I very much agree with ada’s moderating actions to make sure blahaj.zone is a safe space for trans people that don’t wish to constantly battle with transphobic or misogynistic dog whistles.

That’s great advice in a society where most people don’t need several jobs to survive.

In capitalism there is every incentive to be cruel to other people. Most people probably feel horrible when seeing a homeless person on the street. We want to help them but we are told that helping them is bad, because they want to be homeless and if we give money they’ll just ‘waste it’. That’s not a normal human reaction, that’s learned behaviour.

There is no safe country. There are countries that are safer than others but especially in the West, nationalism and fascism are on the rise and queer people will (and already are) falling victim to it.

The best way to prepare is to seek a strong queer community, and volunteer to help it stay strong and healthy. Even under a fascist government you can be happy, you must only find the right people to surround yourself with. Humans are resilient, and especially queer people (especially queer ethnic minorities and queer people of colour) have lots of experience with surviving under repression.

While you’re at it, join a workers union too because workers rights are just as fragile as queer rights.

It’s not just an embargo, it’s a criminal blockade that every UN country except the US, Israel and Ukraine has agreed should end.

Mathematics breaks sometimes when a sentence refers to itself (because it can create contradicting paradoxes). That’s why such sentences are not allowed in formal mathematics.

This example isn’t really a contradicting paradox yet though, none of the answers are correct hence the question is unanswerable (a logical possibility for an arbitrary question). Other commenters correctly pointed out that this setup would be more interesting if 0% would be one of the given possibilities, because then the question is no longer logically unanswerable hence it would be a contradicting paradox (assuming the question is unanswerable implies a possible answer and assuming that a specific one of the answers is correct implies that it’s not correct)

Becoming a communist has greatly improved my mental health because I’m no longer constantly disappointed by liberal politics. Now I put my motivation into helping my org grow which feels very fulfilling.

The rules are intentionally vague and information is intentionally not easily available. Additionally, many workers are not in a position to claim their rights because they are living paycheck to paycheck and legal processes are expensive and last very long.
