They don't have an army, true, but the reason they don't need one is that they are a part of NATO, and are exempt from the requirements of contributing to NATOs standing forces in return for providing facilities and land to the alliance.

So Björk is being at bit disingenuous. It's not like the Icelanders are a shining beacon of pacifism and diplomacy, they're just part of a big military alliance.

I've bee on the beta for a while now, and I still haven't encountered a game that couldn't be shared like this. I played Cyberpunk 2077 through Steam Family.

What on earth are you talking about?

There's nothing easier than just explicitly checking in whether you've read the signals correctly or not before making any creepy moves.

Tip #1 for flirting: Make sure that the other person has a very easy way out of anything they might not like. Then you know they're enthusiastically consenting for whatever comes next.

Quantum mechanics (and spin) isn't really mysterious or inaccessible, it's just not intuitive.

Surely there exists a space between us breeding, mass murdering and torturing domestic animals with cruel factory farming on the one hand, and wiping them off the face of the earth on the other.

Wouldn't you say that both extremes constitute disastrous consequences for huge parts of the entire world's biosphere?

Sorry, I was trying to ask a genuine question, I didn't mean to come across in a negative way.

I'd still be very interested in the answer.

Original from Perry Bible Fellowship: https://pbfcomics.com/comics/one-more-day/

Weird that the text was re-written, I wonder if the comic was somehow translated and translated back to English?

Military response and operations to save the hostages is naturally justified, but that can be done without actively

  • cutting off water, food and power supply
  • bombing hospitals and apartment buildings full of civilians
  • executing civilian families in the streets
  • allowing members of parliament to call for eradication of the Gazan people without criticism
  • trying to shut down any criticism of their extreme and indiscriminate violence by calling their opponents part of Hamas (South Africa, UNRWA)

Does being a Jewish Palestinian somehow make you Israeli? What then if you're a non-Jewish Israeli? 🤔

Not a commie, but didn't the Norwegian people nationalize the oil production, leasing it out to companies while keeping a huge share of the profit for the welfare of common Norwegians?

My understanding is that, in a sense, that is exactly what seizing the means of production is about.
