I've been going through the pictures on my phone recently and found the perfect one from COVID:

The cars make it more realistic, anyway.

Elon Musk is actively taking over various government agencies and installing his own sycophants into them. 18 year old kids are now in charge of the 6 trillion dollars that the government spends annually and were appointed to that position directly from their internships at SpaceX or Tesla. But at least they were camp counselor the year before!

Medical and scientific research is being scrubbed for any mentions of gender (and probably sexuality as well) and COVID while the CDC has been gagged and told they can't report data on ANY active diseases - including the current bird flu that may or may not be turning into another pandemic.

The tariffs are going to cripple the economy on basically all fronts. I heard somebody claim that US auto makers have said that they'll have to stop production after a week because nobody can afford to make cars with those prices.

Trump released thousands of gallons, if not hundreds of thousands, of water from a lake reservoir in California, flooding farmers' fields and almost flooding over levies "because it will help with the fires in LA" despite them being hundreds of miles away, which will hurt the farmers this summer as they won't be able to use that water to keep their crops alive, which will further add to food supply issues and hurt California's economy - which will hurt the rest of the nation by extension because their economy is one of the largest contributors to tax revenue in the country.

The list goes on and on.

For context, Musk's goons basically broke into the OPM and installed their own on-site email server by force.

They're horny for Roxanne, the wolf animatronic from Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach - the character on the console screen on the right.

A miserable pile of secrets and lies. But enough talk, have at you!

Trump made masks political, so wearing one is a political statement to these people.

They have made their political beliefs their entire personality to compensate for their low self confidence and so have to aggressively display their beliefs like a peacock anytime they think somebody is challenging those beliefs, regardless of how benign or irrelevant it is.

Sexism? Absolutely. Self-awareness? Not so much.

For those who don't get the joke, bagels are a Jewish food.

Also, I'd argue they got a good thing going there. Got the gravlax, bagel, and egg on top. Sounds like a delicious breakfast sandwich to me (just get rid of the silly kebab spear and give me some fruit on the side or something).

Isn't this exactly what happened to Toys R Us as well? Bought up by a hedge fund, saddled with millions of dollars of debt to funnel its value to the hedge fund, then bankrupted and sold off for a pittance, laundering all the profit and wiping the debt away like it was never there. All while putting tons of people out of work.

Fun fact, these are both real people from ancient Japanese history (and pretty famous ones at that), but you can guess which one the "gamers" are upset about.

Some more details because these two are really cool and interesting:

The white guy is a British navigator from a Dutch voyage to find a new route to India to steal control of the spice trade from the Spanish and Portugese, whose ship ended up in Japan after almost being destroyed in a storm. His name was William Adams, but the Japanese couldn't pronounce it and called him Anjin-san instead (literally Mr. Pilot). He was made a samurai and given land for his help in a war of succession, as well as his aid in founding the Dutch/British trading relationship in Japan. He lived out the rest of his life in Japan and his house can still be found today as a historical site.

The black guy, whose history is a lot less clear, was named Yasuke. He was most likely a slave originally from Africa, but there are no real records beyond that he was brought to Japan by the Jesuits, who were the sole foreigners allowed into Japan at the time. He was presented to a famous lord by the name of Oda Nobunaga (one of the most famous people in Japanese history), who was so taken with the man that he took him into his service as a retainer and samurai and gave him the name Yasuke. Yasuke served Nobunaga up to and during the betrayal that led to Nobunaga's death, after which Yasuke disappeared from historical records.

Hey now, sometimes it's 3 words. Like antibabypillen.

The irony. I bet the guy who prompted that calls himself an artist.
