Can it still be called "Sid Meier's" Civilization when he doesn't even know what the game ships with?

Don't get me wrong, I've been playing since CIV2 and it's been pretty good, but that just strikes me as weird.

Oh they knew. Don't be naive

Fucking finally. I love a funny joke but if you're looking for serious reviews, you currently have to wade through a sea of trolls, jokes and copy-pasted meme reviews in order to figure out if a game is interesting to you.

Community features are cool but if you're the most popular platform of your kind, you're gonna attract a lot of trolls who's content can be really out there. Filters are a good solution to this!

“We have received feedback from customers that several reboots (as many as 15 have been reported) may be required, but overall feedback is that reboots are an effective troubleshooting step at this stage."

A lot of liberties taken with that headline.

It's 6% of revenue, not profit. So it cuts even more into profits as it doesn't allow a company in breach of regulations to reduce the impact of the fine by adding expenses that will temporarily lower their profit.

Even more spicy, they can also impose periodic penalties up to 5% of the average daily worldwide turnover for each day of delay in complying. That shit can bankrupt you.

No shit. Glad they investigated it so it's official, though. I ditched my account when Phony Stark took over as the writing was on the wall.

Anyone who still uses X is complicit. There's so many alternative platforms to invest in, there's no excuse anymore.

I started a free trial and cancelled it immediately to have no ads while on holiday. Didn't realize they are offering some illusion of achievements as a "reward" for your attention, doubling as a FOMO weapon for when you want to quit.

The quality mode not working is the only real bug. Mods being broken because of an update is expected and normal. Give the mod creators time to update their work and it will be fine.

Unless they've moved on to other projects, then you gotta use a specific version of the game. But that's also not out of the ordinary.

We all know bears don't know how to play chess. This is proof!

Better quality

I think people just love to troll so they nominated Starfield. Then figured it would be really funny if SF won.

Unless the reality is that the majority of gamers does not give a single fuck about quality and innovation and just wants to play the next ~~FIFA~~ EA FC, CoD and Bugthesda stuff

A Kotaku piece about a reddit post, posted on Lemmy. It can't get any better than this

What's the point in these bots posting news articles about stuff covered a week ago?
