I don't understand what you mean by Firefox's development is driven by the community? It's not a community contributed open source software; my friend worka on Firefox and is a Mozilla employee.

The movie ended up being what I expected from the trailer: a disappointment. This should have been a movie just about Georgiou, and a movie about Section 32 should have been something else a entirely.

The Hunger Games concept was kind of dumb, but I actually liked the San story. It gives Georgiou more depth and complexity, but it could have been a lot more. Unfortunately, it was just sandwiched in between an action-whodunnit with a lot of new characters (who were not adequately developed on their own rights) instead of being a drama with some action scenes, as a story like it should have been.

I love Michelle Yeoh, and I'll watch her in anything, but this was a poorly written and directed movie that didn't know what it should have been.

This makes this season's Rutherford make a lot more sense. I am definitely a Rutherford-Tendí shipper, but even my friend who is significantly less so of one than me noticed that the two of them seemed to barely interact after she returned from Orion. They didn't have a lot of screen time, but even the screen time they did have was more being in the same scene together than interacting together which seemed so unlike them. But I thought the whole Tendi-T'Lyn rivalry was very unlike Tendi, too.

To my understanding, that's the way ancient Romans viewed it. For lack of more delicate and concise words, it manly to top, unmanly to bottom. Gay sex was acceptable if the sexual roles reflected their social roles.

I've found this to be true in general once I started working. I don't feel kinda this was a thing when I was and was integrating with other students. I had to readjust my "responsible" self who actually would follow up (to people's horror) and tell myself it's a polite saying that people don't mean. Like when people greet each other with "How are you?", they generally actually do not want to know how the other person is doing. You're expected to say "fine" or "good" and deviating from that is violating an unspoken social contract.

This guy reviews all kinds of e-ink devices. https://www.youtube.com/c/MyDeepGuide/videos

I watched his videos before deciding to get a large format BOOX Max Lumi (13") for PDF reading and note taking. I wanted the large one to split screen a PDF textbook on the left and notebook on the right. That was a few years ago, though, and I suggest reviewing some more recent videos to get an idea of what the current devices are like.

I don't think it makes sense at all if you didn't watch the cartoon.

I had this exact thought after I finished episode 4 (my current place). While I am impressed by the technical aspects of the show, the pacing and exposition is poor and depends entirely on the audience already knowing what's happening in order keep up. And that's entirely putting aside specific plot issues.

There's simultaneously too much and too little happening. The Bumi, Mechanist, and Jet stories are happening at the same time (too much) but separately, instead of one at a time, and Team Avatar experiencing them together (too little team development).

I never thought of Sisko and Yates as unhealthy, but I never found their relationship interesting or compelling. I thought Bashir and Dax, as a character who did not return Julian's interest, had more chemistry than Sisko and Yates.

Gimp, Inkscape, and Scribus were terrible to use after using Adobe for years. Get Affinity suite instead and save yourself the rage and frustration. It's one-time payment license (not a subscription) and they have deals. I got the license for the three of them for $90. They are way closer to Adobe products and definitely worth the one-time cost.

I love the concept of open source, but you can only make so many compromises in quality and usability, especially if you're likelihood depends on it. Gimp, etc just aren't there.

(On the other end of the spectrum, Blender is so amazing I can still hardly believe it.)

Also, did I hear right that the Ferengi Lower Decker was in communication with the mysterious vessel?

That's what I got too. He was both expecting them, and also said they told him they'd make a lot of profit.

Also... Parliament :) Canadians see the word often 😄

A lot of things that happen in season one set up or are referenced in season two. While you probably could get away with skipping season one, you'll miss out on context.

Rewatching S1 after S2 is pretty amazing, though.

But you can definitely just not watch the last season. It's basically disjointed from everything.
