Having my chosen name on documents despite it not being my legal name yet, for example my therapist used it for the invoice they sent me
Very true. Getting a letter addressed to my chosen name give me a dopamine boost.
Shaving my face gives me a lot of euphoria. I don't have full on facial hair yet, but shaving off the peach hairs and staring at my face in the mirror covered in shaving cream is a good feeling.
I get a solid rush of euphoria when the group I dm for uses they them pronouns as they talk about me. I'm only out in some spaces at this point, so it feels great having a space where things don't need to be explained or justified.
Correct pronouns are quite the reliable source of euphoria
Big steel toed boots lol
YUP.
Mirrors
Bras that actually fit
The way I jiggle when brushing my teeth
Being referred to as they/them or it/its
Hairbrush not full of shed follicles anymore
Remarks about how soft I am now
Enbysmell
Gender neutral bathrooms
Unisex apparel
My belly hair!
Can't wait for that!
Seeing myself in the mirror! For most of my life I struggled with body image issues, I absolutely hated how I looked. It took me nearly 20 years to figure out it was dysphoria. Nearly two years later I get to look in the mirror everyday and see a body and face I like, that feels more like me.
I am early into my transition and that is something I'm looking forward to. Since first puberty I could not stand to look at myself in the mirror, even though I was conventionally attractive by society's standards. It's improved now with each newly acquired trait.
Very happy for you. Today's the first day of the rest of our lives. Now we can finally start living. Cheers!
