Could call it fem friday as opposed to femboy friday. Or just stick with femboy friday and realise you can just do shit
I think femboy stuff shouldn't be specific to a gender
You can be a femboy and take estrogen. Fuck gatekeeping, be who you are unapologetically. Your friend is not the arbiter of where identities start and stop being valid.
As a former femboy, I can relate to the struggle. It feels like hrt is cheating and kinda messes up the magic. Others are saying that you can still be a femboy on hrt and that’s true in its own way, but I think I’m much happier being a woman even though I miss the fun of being a femboy and that is just as valid of an experience.
if trans masc people can be femboys (they can and do) then so can you. no one gets to tell you what your gender identity is but you, least of all based on secondary sex characteristics. maybe your friend is lowkey a little jealous of your budding boobies, but that doesn't really excuse trying to gatekeep. you could be a decade into hormones, post ffs and srs, passing better than most cis women and still be a femboy if thats what feels right to you.
Why does everyone care about labels so much :D just dress up like you want and celebrate when you want
U can still do Femboy Friday!!
u can still celebrate femboy friday femboys are awesome!!! but yeah if you're a girl its harder to be a femboy I will say lol. can still match the vibe tho
I was hoping someone else would say this. Anyone can celebrate femboys! They're so awesome and cute and based :3
Being on hormones does not exclude you from being a femboy. But I think what you're experiencing is maybe the realisation that you are in fact a woman, and that it suits you well, but then you have to mourn a little for the loss of a phase of your life that you have positive feelings towards?
Lots of trans people go through this. People who were gay before and are straight after transition mourn the loss of their gay identity and community for example.
