Happy pride, Domi :3
I didn’t realize you’re in CDMX! It’s always amazing, seeing everyone’s daily lives.
But all in all, it was still a great day. Most importantly, it was my very first Pride since coming out of the closet, and my mom actually accompanied me!
That's so awesome! I hope there's many more to come, too!! Happy Pride <3
aww so sweet of your Mom to come with, congrats on your first pride! looks like an amazing time and you look lovely as always! that skirt is so cute and looks nice and cool I might need one like it :)
Yeah, she had a good time! Some people even wanted to take pictures of her sign, and she got really emotional and almost cried.
🥺 what a great Mom :)
Yay!
Happy pride for you and your mom 😊
Looks pretty fun! :D
I might not go to my local Pride this year, but next year surely…!
Those are such wholesome and welcoming photos! You look comfy, fantastic, and incredibly happy there! And so wonderful of your mom being there with you
Could you give a translation of the signs? My very shaky comprehension from taking Spanish decades ago is, I think:
First - I get the jist of the first part but I can't really figure the second half
Second - if your family doesn't accept you, you're my family
Third - I think it's saying they've got open arms for people without judging, and with respect, diversity, and love, and there's some more I kinda grasp
Regardless, they emit love and positivity and despite the language barrier I can feel the good vibes. Thanks for sharing, and putting yourself out there
(I had to look up "zocalo cdmx". That is incredibly beautiful architecture)
Yep, here they go:
That first one hit a lot harder than I thought. All such beautiful messages, thank you for translating
