I'm all for this.

I want to see Trump try to stand in front of lights and stage for an extended period of time. His dementia, incontinence and physical frailty will be exposed to all. Maybe a major stroke light will be on the cards as well.

FYI there is a planned no kings protest scheduled for June 14th (Donny’s birthday) let’s make this pedos birthday a day to remember.

[-] Adderbox76@lemmy.ca 2 points 31 minutes ago

In a decade of truly insane rants, this was probably his most insane.

"I am thinking about bringing the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World, the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime, and he does so without a guitar, the man who loves our Country more than anyone else, and the man who some say is the Greatest President in History (THE GOAT!), DONALD J. TRUMP, to take the place of these highly paid, Third Rate 'Artists'."

What in the absolute fuck is there left to say at this point?

[-] Yerbouti@sh.itjust.works 1 points 6 minutes ago

Nah, this is not even top 10, it's a monday.

[-] jode@pawb.social 2 points 46 minutes ago

Do it, and please let this be his "Biden debate moment" where he crashes out on stage in front of the world.

[-] dhork@lemmy.world 5 points 1 hour ago

Trump floats

I was gonna post that that was doubtful, but then I Did My Own Research and discovered that morbidly obese people have an easier time floating

[-] SupraMario@lemmy.world 14 points 2 hours ago

Please do this and have a shitload of flashing lights, and let it be 95+ outside, then let his brain cook itself while he rambles on, only like a dementia riddled pedo can.

They signed up these artists for the nation's birthday celebration, and were uninformed enough not to realize that it's a ruse to celebrate the president's birthday, and that this was political, and would forever tar them in association with the biggest piece of shit in the world (as measured by character.)

So good for them for pulling out. It's way better they signed up, then publicly pulled out. We should have every artist do that, except wait until the last minute, then be like, oh, I didn't know the president or party was involved, sorry. Leave them publicly humiliated without their entertainment.

Looking at you UFC.

[-] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 29 points 3 hours ago

I wish his dad had pulled out.

[-] SnarkoPolo@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

They say thousands of people will be there!

If you measure in Kelvin.

there’s only one thing that could happen on july 4 that i think would perfectly capture the founders’ intent for independence from tyranny….it would be so poetic if it happened

It really says something when someone is so hated that we all know what you're hinting at.

[-] T00l_shed@lemmy.world 22 points 3 hours ago

The tree of liberty and what not

[-] rockSlayer 19 points 3 hours ago

I too have a vague concept in mind for liberating us from tyranny. It's truly glorious. Sic Semper Tyrannis

[-] HootinNHollerin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 4 points 2 hours ago

Why are you posting Fox ’news’ though

[-] Sassinake@mastodon.social 1 points 2 hours ago

@HootinNHollerin @tacoplease

people always like to watch a train crash.

[-] dan1101@lemmy.world 3 points 1 hour ago

He will probably have a bunch of MAGA pedos and Christian Nationalists do most of the speaking.

[-] Treczoks@lemmy.world 1 points 1 hour ago

Has he hired Leni Riefenstahl for filming the event?

[-] humanamerican@lemmy.zip 20 points 4 hours ago

I started reading the article comments. Boy was that a mistake.

[-] AbidanYre@lemmy.world 29 points 4 hours ago

You have to wonder how many are bots or Russian at this point.

[-] humanamerican@lemmy.zip 7 points 3 hours ago

Hopefully all of them

The band Milli Vanilli was also announced as a performer, though one of its singers, Jodie Rocco, said on Thursday that the group had not been asked to appear.

What the actual f*** is happening?

[-] prole 15 points 3 hours ago

I bet someone at the White House emailed millivanilli@gmail.com or something, and the person at the other end thought it would be funny to fuck with them and accept lol

[-] elgordino@fedia.io 25 points 3 hours ago

Milli Vanilli Total Landscaping.

[-] JailElonMusk@sopuli.xyz 1 points 2 hours ago

What's next?

Millie Vanilli God Bless the USA Bibles.

[-] KiltedQueer@mstdn.social 7 points 3 hours ago

@Sumocat @Zedstrian With Rob Pilatus being dead since 1998 it would be just Vanilli?

[-] Lumidaub@feddit.org 6 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago)

There's two groups of people claiming the name Milli Vanilli: one is the original actual singers (including Jodie Rocco) and the other is ~~Pilatus~~ Morvan (plus supporting musicians). Nobody knows which group they were referring to in the announcement (though they had a picture of ~~Pilatus~~ Morvan) and, afaik, ~~Pilatus~~ Morvan hasn't commented yet.

Edit: Morvan, not Pilatus. Duh.

[-] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 hours ago* (last edited 2 hours ago)

So instead of inviting the people who actually made the songs, this implies that they invited half of the duo who didn't make them almost 40 years ago?

[-] adespoton@lemmy.ca 4 points 2 hours ago

Who do you think Trump would want: someone with musical talent, or someone who can look good lip syncing to old songs on stage?

[-] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 hours ago

By my math, none of them are going to look pretty up on that stage. They should just hire a pair of attractive black men to lip sync it all over again. Just like Milli Vanilli was back in the day.

[-] GuyFawkesV@lemmy.world 3 points 2 hours ago

Is that really surprising though?

[-] MagicShel@lemmy.zip 3 points 2 hours ago

Not remotely. I think it couldn't be more on brand. I think someone offered up Milli Vanilli Total Landscaping. They were spot on.

[-] KiltedQueer@mstdn.social 1 points 3 hours ago
[-] Lumidaub@feddit.org 1 points 1 hour ago

I edited, apparently while you were commenting :)

@tacoplease

You can almost hope it turns into a riot, but only good people would get hurt.

Ultimately, what Trump is promising his base is a Rwanda-style massacre, where the 'winners' get to kill their 'other' neighbours and take their tv and car, and get away with it.

A 'redistribution of the wealth' - so to speak - until they realize all the people they killed picked their tomatoes, cleaned up their garbage and wiped their grandpas' asses,

And now NOTHING WORKS ANYMORE
