Its the backward running after the kick that does it for me. Such a shit angle to capturing that. The CGI is what it is. I'll take that for its age. What I can't excuse is bad physical acting.
The CGI is sufficient to my modest needs. But the acting when he takes that kick… what the fuck was that?

Is that... Neelix? I'm struggling to remember this episode but it sorta looks like Neelix mildly dry humping the air to avoid being sucked ~~off~~ out of the elevator.

This does remind me how few times Star Trek has used the idea of a space elevator.
I kind of feel we need a meme juxtaposing this with a gif from the Lower Decks episode where Mariner and Ransom were fixing an elevator and had to skydive.
They should’ve brought Neelix for that, obviously.
