Shrek is love, Shrek is life.

[-] sanguinepar@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago

Yeah, but Shrek's Scottish accent is horrible.

[-] Good_Slate@lemmy.world 4 points 6 months ago

There are multiple Scottish accents. You'd have to pick which one! Perhaps the most widely recognised would be Glaswegian.

[-] sanguinepar@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago

Though probably not the most widely recognised as sexy 😁

I had a boyfriend in England, he was Scottish (town southwest of Glasgow) but had lived in Canada, so the accent was muted. I am from Florida with parents from Louisiana so southern but not Southern l. I liked when he got drunk because he got more Scottish and he liked when I got drunk because I sounded Southern.

@ambitious_bones@lemmy.world

@wuphysics87@lemmy.ml

which one though? I can guarantee you're not talking about Ayrshire (mine) or (most) Glaswegian. North & Islands are pretty good though.

Whats the one Frankie Boyle speaks?

One that isn't yours. No offense.

[-] davidgro@lemmy.world 17 points 6 months ago

I actually think that's a universal truth. One's own accent is boring or even feels "non-existent" (it exists) but it may be very attractive to someone else with a different one.

[-] Valarie@lemmy.dbzer0.com 1 points 6 months ago

One that isn't mine because I hate it

I've got a thing for Welsh women. Specifically, Eve Myles, Torchwood of course but primarily Merrill in Dragon Age 2. So damn cute.

Mine, of course.

Jean Luc Picard's fake French accent.

Actual French accent doesn't even come close.

[-] PyroNeurosis 5 points 6 months ago

I've always enjoyed a stout Minnesota accent. Very cosy and fun. Sexy... Is a bit beyond my use case.

[-] IndieGoblin@lemmy.4d2.org 4 points 6 months ago

British London upper class. French any American who lives in a 4 bedroom single family in a blue state which both snows and is warm.

Women speaking south-western Norwegian accent. The one from Sandnes is my weak spot. It's very soft and feminine.

[-] Frostbeard@lemmy.world 2 points 6 months ago

That's my hard pass for some reason. Or did you mean when that dialect speaks English?

[-] ComradePenguin@lemmy.ml 1 points 6 months ago

When it is spoken in Norwegian. For some reason it just makes women sound softer, warmer and even more feminine to me. Maybe it's because of associations, no idea 🤷‍♂️

[-] MXC48@lemmy.ml 2 points 6 months ago

As a French speaker I think Italian is pretty sexy, however French is also considered as a sexy accent ;)

The noises people make while giving you head. Giving/getting oral is the most intimate part of sex for me. Gender not important.

I love an Arabic accent. Scottish accents are also beautiful in a rough way, as are Appalachian ones.

[-] Muckle@aussie.zone 1 points 5 months ago

I like deep manly voices, personality. The ones that command respect🤤

[-] Frostbeard@lemmy.world 1 points 6 months ago

There was this Imgur post going around with this girl talking to a goat. Real molasses in your ear. Pure coalminers daughter according to one comment.

Cant find it now sadly
