Lmao. That stands for leaded and regular. Sheesh.

[-] RelativeArea1@sh.itjust.works 53 points 3 weeks ago

wait...pussies has knocks?

[-] accideath@feddit.org 73 points 3 weeks ago

Where did you think „getting knocked up“ came from?

[-] RVGamer06@sh.itjust.works 10 points 3 weeks ago

Wasn't lead paint enough? Now we have lead tampons smh

[-] smuuthbrane@sh.itjust.works 119 points 3 weeks ago

Tampons come in many different types, kind of like quarks. Left, right, up, down, charm, strange… but you need at least a specialization in gynecology to be able to recognize most of them. A left or right tampon will usually be good enough, but might permit a bit of spotting.

[-] sundray@lemmus.org 78 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

More exotic tampons are theorized, but have not yet been discovered at the Large Vagdron Collider.

[-] LH0ezVT@sh.itjust.works 14 points 3 weeks ago

That sounds like a pretty painful experiment.

[-] flambonkscious@sh.itjust.works 9 points 3 weeks ago

It depends on your frame of reference, really.

A pair of large vags(?) colliding sounds like a great time...

The first time I bought tampons and pads for a girlfriend I was about 19 and didn't know there were different sizes so I just grabbed the first package I saw. I don't recall what it was labeled but it was the kind that women typically get right after giving birth haha.

[-] Korhaka@sopuli.xyz 13 points 3 weeks ago

When I bought some for my partner I was also sent with a list of snacks to buy. I did a much better job at getting the snacks but at least the pads were usable so I could have done worse

[-] tungsten5@lemmy.zip 10 points 3 weeks ago

Nothing wrong with an extra strong tampon. It keeps one honest.

The first time I had to do it was for my wife. When I got to the store I went to the tapon aisle and recreated this meme. Took the selfie with the pads in the back and texted it to my wife asking what size pussy she wears. She thinks im ridiculous, but did laugh.

I actually dated a girl who had a chambered pussy. She was born with mild spina bifida, and there was a scar on her tailbone.

Anyhow, she loved doggy style. I'd get going good and then pop the head of my dick into the alcove, she'd cum her brains out.

Fun times.

[-] okwhateverdude@lemmy.world 51 points 3 weeks ago

Hi, I'd like to unread what I just read, plz.

[-] DrDystopia@lemy.lol 40 points 3 weeks ago

Thanks for sharing, please don't.

[-] ConstantPain@lemmy.world 19 points 3 weeks ago

Need a diagram to understand what you mean

[-] Machinist@lemmy.world 32 points 3 weeks ago

Alcove in blue. It didn't extend into her intestines or anything, it was just a small pocket in the back wall.

[-] i_am_tired_boss@lemmy.world 31 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

Why is she filled with corn? Is she American?

[-] Lightfire228@pawb.social 12 points 3 weeks ago

That is adipose tissue (body fat)

So yes, she's American

[-] bear 14 points 3 weeks ago

Which direction was the alcove?

If you don’t know, this doesn’t stand for left and right. It stands for liquid and regular.

[-] nailingjello@piefed.zip 49 points 3 weeks ago
[-] hperrin@lemmy.ca 88 points 3 weeks ago

No, it’s definitely liquid. I just asked my dad, brother, uncle, grandpa, and (male) friend.

Light and regular. There is also heavy. How much they can absorb.

[-] prole 15 points 3 weeks ago

Light, Regular and Heavy

Ahhh yes. Like Street Fighter.

[-] SaltyIceteaMaker@lemmy.ml 7 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

why would one use light or regular? are tgey cheaper or have other advantages?

[-] andros_rex@lemmy.world 22 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

There’s variation between people on how much they menstruate. Some people have very light flows, some people have very heavy flows. It also changes a bit over the course of the period - you might start out with a lighter flow, have a heavier flow in the middle, and then end with a lighter flow. You generally want to go with the lightest one you can for comfort reasons.

You might also want a larger one for overnight/if you need to go a longer time without changing. (Imagine being a stealth transgender man and teaching. No time to go to the bathroom all shift, and no way to justify the emergency ☠️ My current part time job I have because public education is no trans allowed where I live is great in that regard, the staff is half trans/nb and my manager helped me find a tampon in an emergency…)

[-] HonoraryMancunian@lemmy.world 8 points 3 weeks ago

I think they were asking why doesn't everyone just use the heaviest flow ones all the time, just to be on the safe side — like are they less comfortable than the lighter flow ones for example?

[-] Waldelfe@feddit.org 20 points 3 weeks ago

Removing a tampon that isn't sufficiently soaked is pretty uncomfortable because it irritates the vagina. You also should change the tampon every few hours to avoid toxic shock symptom. If the tampon is too big, it won't be soaked enough and very uncomfortable to remove.

[-] cmgvd3lw@discuss.tchncs.de 15 points 3 weeks ago

Wait are there solid mensuration?

[-] fuckgod@feddit.online 71 points 3 weeks ago

Yeah, but it's rarer and usually called a baby.

[-] infinitesunrise@slrpnk.net 24 points 3 weeks ago

I know you're joking but "solid menstruation" can actually happen and it's called a decidual cast and it's some brutal metal shit.

[-] ComfortableRaspberry@feddit.org 7 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

Define "solid". It can actually be a bit chunky because of the uterine lining. But they are soft

Do some guys think that they have two balls but girls just have one vagina?

[-] betterdeadthanreddit@lemmy.world 24 points 3 weeks ago

That's nuts, where would they store their pee?

[-] untorquer@lemmy.world 29 points 3 weeks ago

Women don't pee. No balls.

[-] popekingjoe@lemmy.world 10 points 3 weeks ago

Makes sense.

My guess is there may also be an H, for Light, Regular and Heavy flow. Besides size its what they are usually designed for.

[-] faythofdragons@slrpnk.net 19 points 3 weeks ago

You're not wrong, but they call it Super instead of Heavy for some reason. You can get L, R, S, and S+ tampons.

At my worst I was flowing over a S+ in under an hour, but that's not okay and I've got health problems that are causing it. They're supposed to last around four hours, and you can't leave them in for more than eight hours or you run infection risks. They can be painful coming out dry, so if you've got a lighter flow, you'll want a lower absorbancy so they're nice and juicy coming out.

Left hand and right hand insertation :-)

[-] ryedaft@sh.itjust.works 12 points 3 weeks ago

I feel so stupid. I thought it was for left coiled and right coiled vaginas.

[-] VindictiveJudge@lemmy.world 18 points 3 weeks ago

I don't think ducks typically use tampons.

Double Uterus / Double Vagina is a thing but it's congenital and pretty rare. The uterus starts off as two ducts that eventually fuse into a single organ during fetal development. Sometimes they don't fuse completely, leading to two uteruses and sometimes two vaginas.

[-] zr0@lemmy.dbzer0.com 7 points 3 weeks ago

Wait, I thought it is for left- and right handed people?
