Trump is so transparent, his evil henchmen even look evil! I mean look at that gormless, single-digit IQ pig Tom Homan, the Cruella-looking Tulsi Gabbard, the worm-for-brains RFK Jr. with the tombstone voice, and now this children-scaring motherfucker: they're so caricatural they could have been cast as Dr. Evil's henchmen.

I guess all that's missing is a cat called Mr. Bigglesworth sitting on Trump's lap.

Don't forget the Eastern European child rapist looking Stephen Miller.

[-] ExtremeDullard@lemmy.sdf.org 2 points 3 months ago

Oh yeah true, how could I forget that psycho!

This country is beyond hope.

[-] WizardofFrobozz@lemmy.ca 10 points 3 months ago

Sure as long as nobody does literally anything

[-] SereneSadie@lemmy.myserv.one 8 points 3 months ago

The no-voters are ahead of you on that.

[-] Randomgal@lemmy.ca 2 points 3 months ago

Haven't you noticed? The whole country has been talking about fucking paper containing fucking already known information 24/7.

Doing nothing is their national occupation.

[-] floofloof@lemmy.ca 7 points 3 months ago

We can hope that the relevant lifetime for this lifetime appointment is not too long. Like a shitty lifetime warranty that guarantees your product will work for as long as it does.

Indeed, I think the Americans' only recourse left at this point is the fourth box of liberty. The problem is, the powers that be have understood that they need to outgun the citizenry if they want to stay in power forcibly. So they've militarized the police to the point that it's simply impossible to overpower it. And all of them surround themselves with multiple layers of bodyguards, so they're impossible to approach.

So they’ve militarized the police to the point that it’s simply impossible to overpower it.

More violent authoritarian regimes have been overthrown by people power. Don't fall into the learned helplessness trap.

This is why those weird MuWire accounts have so many guerilla warfare manuals.

[-] Olhonestjim@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

They are far from invulnerable. It might be difficult, but hardly impossible.

[-] Skyrmir@lemmy.world 23 points 3 months ago

We need to get impeachment votes on him now. Lying to congress is impeachable. Make the GoP defend him.

[-] xyzzy@lemmy.today 18 points 3 months ago

We all knew they would confirm this unwrapped mummy despite their protestations of concern. The act is tired.

[-] TopsickPilgrim@lemmy.world 17 points 3 months ago

Whats the process of removing a life time judge? Are they above the law?

[-] OutlierBlue@lemmy.ca 17 points 3 months ago

They get removed at the end of their life.

[-] TargaryenTKE@lemmy.world 9 points 3 months ago

Technically no, but actually yes

[-] AngryRobot@lemmy.world 8 points 3 months ago

Impeachment,so it won't happen in this country.

I mean, assuming the republicans ever lose power, why should any of the conventions of the past be upheld? Why should not every single judge appointed by the republicans be removed from their positions?

Trump has shown you that the rules don't matter when you are in power, fucking learn the lesson already

[-] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 9 points 3 months ago

Because one side values "decorum" and "reaching across the aisle" and one doesn't.

[-] Rentlar@lemmy.ca 15 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

I knew this was coming eventually. I'm shocked, but I can't really be surprised by Republicans' fecklessness at this point.

[-] stonedtemplepilot@lemmy.world 13 points 3 months ago

Awful, but sadly expected. What a pack of ghouls, man.

[-] lmdnw@lemmy.world 12 points 3 months ago

Hopefully he lives a very short life.

[-] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 9 points 3 months ago

Good job, jerk-offs.

[-] BigMacHole@sopuli.xyz 8 points 3 months ago

IGNORING the Courts is EXACTLY the Type of Leadership we need and NONE of that Harvard DEI Nonsense!

[-] Wytch@lemmy.zip 5 points 3 months ago

Here's an article from 2020 about Trump's Harvard graduates.

Other notable conservative Harvard graduates: Raphael "Ted" Cruz, Ron DeSantis, Trump's press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court John Roberts, Trump appointee Mehmet Oz, Trump's nominee Neil Gorsuch.

“The revolution will be bloodless if the left allows it to be.”

Congratulations, you do-nothing cowards. You allowed it to be. You deserve everything you get.

[-] Soulg@ani.social 2 points 3 months ago

Do it yourself or shut the fuck up

[-] WizardofFrobozz@lemmy.ca 1 points 3 months ago

Waiting for another country to come save your from what you created? Yeah, sounds on brand.

[-] P1k1e@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Nooooooo! You've gotta be fucking kidding me!

[-] neclimdul@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Let me guess, he pinky promised Murkowski he would behave.

[-] jballs@sh.itjust.works 8 points 3 months ago

She actually voted against him. Her and Collins are allowed to vote against GOP nominees as long as their votes don't matter.

Bove was confirmed, 50-49. Every Democrat opposed him, along with two Republicans: Sens. Lisa Murkowski (Alaska) and Susan Collins (Maine).

[-] StepUp2DaStreets@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

They keep fucking doing that to placate their bases and it's so annoying.

[-] bitMasque@lemmy.world 3 points 3 months ago

Isn't that Count Orlok?
