Daily reminder to all ICE agents. By signing up for ICE, you have signed yourself up for a lifetime of fear and criminal liability. There are Nazi concentration camp guards that were tried for their crimes in their 90s. There is no statute of limitations on crimes against humanity. Your names are recorded; your deeds are known. And you will face justice for your crimes. And do not count on a blanket pardon saving you. Crimes against humanity are violations of international law that cannot be pardoned.

It's astounding how fucking dumb these people are.

Alcatraz and Auschwitz are interchangeable whenever they're spoken.

[-] Fleur_@aussie.zone 6 points 10 hours ago

Every day I open Lemmy and go "what they doin over there" at all the Americans. It's like my very own fascism terrarium. I get to enjoy it until the coup my government again

[-] Imgonnatrythis@sh.itjust.works 1 points 5 hours ago

Seems like a good idea I guess if you're going to publicly say dumb stuff that makes people want to shoot you?

[-] banshee@lemmy.world 2 points 9 hours ago

Bless her heart.

What's going on is we live in a country with A LOT of racists and one of them is in the Oval Office, giving the thumbs up to the other racists, telling them their racism is not only acceptable, but desirable.

And a bunch of other people who are not racist, but very stupid, decided to make stupid decisions last November, allowing the racists to flourish.

Imagine bragging about more prisons in your state. Like that's your fucking platform? How does that enrich the citizen's lives?

[-] humanspiral@lemmy.ca 4 points 14 hours ago

There is a perverse logic to increasing GDP by employing every white male to round up and detain mexicans. But aligators are taking white jobs, now.

[-] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 2 points 13 hours ago

And anyone who knows alligators would know they ain't down for the job! My swamp puppies eat anything regardless of skin tone.

[-] Blackmist@feddit.uk 18 points 17 hours ago

What for me about the new concentration camp was that it would have 1000 inmates but cost 500 million a year to run.

Like wtf? You could buy them all a fucking house each for that. Every year. But hey, fuck food stamps right.

The goal isn't to safely and effectively house people awaiting due process for immigration offenses.

The goal is to create a brutal inhumane quasi-death camp to eradicate scapegoat ethnicities and to provide a slush fund for pro-Nazi state governments and their jackbooted SS.

[-] currycourier@lemmy.world 6 points 17 hours ago

A damn nice house, too

[-] Bakkoda@sh.itjust.works 11 points 16 hours ago

Timothy 2:11 reads I ain't gotta listen to no woman get back in the kitchen.

Or something like that.

[-] KingPorkChop@lemmy.ca 6 points 14 hours ago

Deuteronomy 22:13-21 says we can chuck rocks at them if they aren't virgins on their wedding night.

I am a South Carolinian. This vile person in no way represents the will of most South Carolinians. I am constantly embarrassed by our politicians. If people of good will in thus state woke up and just went to the polls, we could end the tenure of this evil fool and so many others, but it never happens. I am so very tired of this perpetuation of evil, and I'm so heart sick that so much of it comes from the people I grew up with.

[-] voodooattack@lemmy.world 1 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago)

Unfortunately, people of good will rarely have the willingness to go along with it.

[-] Ileftreddit@lemmy.world 2 points 10 hours ago

That’s if you believe in the continued integrity of our elections, which let’s be honest, was always a tenuous thing at best. Since 2000, it’s been a slippery fucking slope

[-] Allemaniac@lemmy.world 55 points 23 hours ago

if Nazi Germany was around today, this is the type of shit SS officiers would post on their social media, just to be clear. They are all powerhungry violators of human rights and should ALL be trialed accordingly

[-] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 2 points 14 hours ago

They're the same picture.img

[-] echodot@feddit.uk 7 points 17 hours ago

Honestly I think alligators would be less of a threat. Frankly they are easier to run away from and they're not that big on object permanence.

If you go into a room and close the door they forget about you.

[-] Imgonnatrythis@sh.itjust.works 1 points 5 hours ago

Instructions unclear, closed the door and now I'm stuck in a room with an alligator. He doesn't seem to be forgetting yet.

[-] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 3 points 14 hours ago

Also they're generally chill. I grew up in South Florida and have encountered more than my fair share while canoeing, and outside of breeding season you can walk right up to them and give them a slap and tickle and they couldn't be fucked to give you any grief.

[-] Bytemeister@lemmy.world 4 points 16 hours ago

That, and alligators don't really see people as food, unless you are a small child playing near the edge of the water at dusk. They can be defensive of their personal space and breeding territory, but they'd much rather be 10ft away from you than attacking you.

Source: Spent a week kayaking in a burning swamp absolutely filled with alligators. They just want to sit in the sun and be left the fuck alone.

Second Amendment

A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

[-] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 3 points 11 hours ago

Gun-hating libtard here.

I'm starting the process of getting heavily armed. Everyone else should be doing the same. Help your friends and family get armed and trained.

You can't ask fascism to step down. You put it down.

[-] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 4 points 14 hours ago

Also the whole "tree of liberty" and its need to be fertilized.

[-] Gradually_Adjusting@lemmy.world 5 points 22 hours ago

2A or not 2A, that is the question. Whether tis nobler in South Carolina to suffer the tweets and gators of outrageous assholes, or get strapped against a sea of idiots and by opposing, Luigi them.

[-] Taldan@lemmy.world 15 points 23 hours ago* (last edited 23 hours ago)

And they're not big on paperwork.

What a simple, unassuming sentence filled with pure evil. Telegraphing that she is fully in favor of concentration camps and genocide

[-] YiddishMcSquidish@lemmy.today 1 points 14 hours ago

Bet you dollars to cents she goes to a church and considers herself a Christian. Let's not forget that whole "wwjd" bullshit doesn't forbid beating a mother fucker.

[-] samus12345@sh.itjust.works 94 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

WTF are we doing here?

Repeating the same goddamn mistakes again. This is what Americans supporting Trump want, all "undesirables" to be murdered. This is what tens of millions of us are.

Jesus would be ashamed.

Matthew 25:32

32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink,43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’

44 “They also will answer, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’

45 “He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.’

James 2

6 But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? 7 Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?

8 If you really keep the royal law found in Scripture, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” you are doing right.

15 Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? 17 In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.

18 But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.” Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds.

Acts 2

32 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. 33 With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all

34 that there were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales 35 and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.

Matthew 24

24 For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
