If gay people can be discriminated against then so can 'christians.' Simple as that.

This guy sits in Amarillo. Normally when you file a lawsuit in federal court your case is assigned to a judge by random lottery. But Amarillo only has one judge, so the lottery always comes up with this guy.

This is the same man that tried to ban mifepristone nationwide based on the Comstock Act.

This seems to go against a pretty recent SC precedent authored by Gorsuch.

I bet it's a universal nationwide injunction too, the kind the SC was just talking about limiting yesterday.

Edit:

Ultimately, Judge Kacsmaryk ordered the complete removal of all references to sexual orientation and gender identity as protected classes under Title VII from EEOC guidance. His ruling declares that “all language defining ‘sex’ in Title VII to include ‘sexual orientation’ and ‘gender identity’” must be stripped...

Yep. Universal nationwide injunction and directly contradicts the holding from Bostock.

Let’s imagine this decision is upheld by the SC. Would state-level discrimination protections still apply, in states that have them?

This isn’t Judge Kacsmaryk’s first foray into far-right legal activism—it’s his trademark. He’s become the go-to jurist for plaintiffs looking to turn extremist ideology into binding precedent. He’s the one who tried to revoke FDA approval of mifepristone, a safe and widely used abortion medication. He’s ruled against LGBTQ+ protections in the Affordable Care Act. He even tried to force Planned Parenthood to pay $2 billion to Texas and Louisiana—a ruling so outrageous that even the deeply conservative Fifth Circuit tossed it. Now, he’s taking aim at Title VII itself, effectively inviting employers to harass and discriminate against LGBTQ+ workers by pretending Bostock never happened.

But like there is no way this succedess on appeal. Even Trump's Supreme Court, in an opinion written by Neil Gorsuch! said that title vii protects LGBTQ+ employees (Bostock V Clayton county (2020))

Those of you wondering if he’s a Trump judge - search your feelings. You know it to be true.
