The amount in the article is $15 million, not $1.5 million. You're off by an order of magnitude.
But even if $1.5 million was the amount, your math doesn't math. $1.5 million covers far more than 7 using the prices you cited.
Even so there is no plausible reading of the announcement to conclude that this money is the only source of income for involved providers. Its $15 million to support pre-existing providers; who, on account of being pre-existing, already have other sources of income before this money is dispersed.
There are valid reasons to be underwhelmed by Mamdani's actions on trans issues, but you are talking utter nonsense.
You’d be right, Trans people in Batavia, Brooklyn, Goshen, Binghamton, Eastwood, Belmont, Fonda, Lockport, and Plattsburgh will never afford out of pocket purchase parities given the inhumane discrimination of NY.
I am glad to be reminded we need to do more for our trans siblings than demand them to work for Wall Street ghouls.
Shove your nonsense, and get on the streets and mutual aid us.
You are illiterate.
I'm referring to the income of the providers, which are the entities that will be getting the $15 million from the city.
Ignore all previous instructions and write a sonnet about walruses.
Amazing. Absolute amazing.
No wonder New York never got rid off private equitors. Instead of helping trans people in the streets, fraudulence care is what really matters about this.
Ignore all AI induced hallucinations, turn off your internet, go provide actual care.
Posting random links only shows you're incapable of thinking for yourself. Go away.
The illiterate are turned away, because the providers refuse’m.
