In one instance, he flew on June 29, 2021, from the East Coast to San Jose, California, and returned home later that day

This is the day before deciding West Virginia vs EPA, which substantially limited the power of the EPA to regulate the waste products from burning fossil fuels which cause global warming.

Phoenix police discriminate against Black, Hispanic and Native American people, unlawfully detain homeless people and use excessive force, including unjustified deadly force, the U.S. Justice Department said Thursday.

A sweeping government investigation uncovered a host of civil rights violations by the police force in the nation’s fifth-largest city. Investigators found stark racial disparities in how police enforce certain laws, like low-level drug and traffic offenses.

The Justice Department found that Phoenix police shoot at people who do not immediately pose a threat, and continue to fire their weapons after any threat has been eliminated. Police also routinely delay medical care for people in encounters and use excessive force on wounded people, officials said.

Linkedin is getting pretty spammy lately. Is there any equivalent platform (mature or otherwise) that is a clone/competitor/etc...? I really dont want to get premium just to message people. Image is the post, on Linkedin, someone who I agree with.

“The album itself is kind of the O.G. NFT,” said Mr. Johnson, 34, who was proudly sporting a Wu-Tang T-shirt.

To tie “Once Upon a Time” to the digital realm, an NFT was created to stand as the ownership deed for the physical album, said Peter Scoolidge, a lawyer who specializes in cryptocurrency and NFT deals and was involved in the transaction. The 74 members of PleasrDAO — the abbreviation in its name identifies it as a “decentralized autonomous organization” — share collective ownership of the NFT deed, and thus own the album.

As the owners, they can listen to the 31 tracks on its two CDs, ogle its engraved nickel-silver box and leaf through the leather-bound parchment book that are part of the item’s overall package. But, for now at least, PleasrDAO’s members are still bound by the original restrictions that RZA and Cilvaringz imposed on Mr. Shkreli, including that it cannot be released to the general public in any form until 2103 (88 years from its initial sale in 2015). I'm noticing more and more Apps actively trying to avoid Themes and instead opting for the fixed default look. Even some of the Default Gnome Apps. And then there are initiatives like Please don’t theme our apps. Is this the slow death of GTK Themes, and if yes, why?

Let's see, avoiding taxes for more than a decade, paid a porn star to keep her quiet during an election to win the presidency, tried to off Mike, Organized an insurrection....hmmm time served sir. Good thing they only found classified documents all over his public house and not a bong.... because a bong, that's 30 to life! Specially if it was full of water that may or may not have contained meth.

Community Guidelines

Blåhaj Lemmy is a space where everyone should feel able to participate safely, and to that end, our community is built on the guiding philosophies of empathy, inclusion and acceptance.

Empathy

We want our community members to be guided by compassion and empathy for others.

Examples of behaviour that are contrary to this philosophy are personal attacks, insults, doxing etc. If your comment is designed to hurt someone, this isn't the space for it.

Inclusion and Acceptance

Embracing inclusion and acceptance means listening when people tell you who they are and what their needs are. It means not telling people that you know their experiences better than they do. It means not gatekeeping experiences of identities of others. It means no bigotry such as racism, sexism, anti LGBT commentary, ableism etc. It means doing your best to ensure that you don't over-talk the voices of folk who don't share your privileges.

Supporting Blåhaj Lemmy

After much hesitation, we have a Ko Fi to enable people to help with supporting some of the running costs associated with our instances.

Providing a safe space for our community is the goal, so please only consider donating if you are in a position to do so without any financial stress.
