i want to get more into the sega consoles with not only the sonic games ive already played in a few master system games like alex kidd however i am not familiar much with the SMS and almost totally blind about the genesis apart for the sonic games disney games any suggestion for games for those systems?

i recently fell in love with dragon quest after playing the first game in the NES version however i am a purist and feel like i should play the original original version however i dont know japanese so i downloaded a fan made translation patch and this is the annoying part when a i booted the game up and killed the first enemy i suddonly get into level 11 and more then 250 gold and like i know that the game is very grindy however i like that and i feel that the fact this is the only fan translation of the famicom game is annoying

i already had this game for the NES the problem is that the nes is much more big and problematic to play then the famciom (at least in my opinion) so i bought a japanese copy too
