REI is corpo scum. They are not a co-op. This retraction is nice to hear but ultimately meaningless as long as they continue forcing corpo trash board candidates into their rigged board elections system.

I bet if someone drew a concealed pistol on him after he pulled out his rifle the cops would NOT consider it self defense.

ACAB.

while I'm really not a fan of Senator Booker for a LOT of reasons, in this case he's actually put his body on the line fighting one of the many fronts that Democratic lawmakers need to be fighting on.

We need more of this. Hopefully this inspires more.

It's had it for at least months but even if its years old it's still a cool feature and deserves attention

Replacing nazi cars with slave labor cars is a pretty fucked up idea.

These motherfuckers are actively making tech as a whole less secure by destroying any trust the public may have had in firmware updates.

Urgent security fixes are gonna go unpatched on a lot of shit because consumers are seeing more and more firmware or software updates actively making things WORSE.

Signal is actually good. More people should be using it.

I reported this post for harassment. LinkedIn said "nope this is fine":

This is pretty fucking egregious. I don't care if the candidate was wildly unprofessional or not, you don't fucking drop names like this publicly.

If I was that candidate I'd be calling lawyers right about now.

Also, if you reported it, they don't let you see it afterwards, even if they refuse to take it down. So it may look like they've taken action when all they've done is make it sorta look like they did, just to you.

I actually, genuinely thought it was an accidental fire.

Speaks to the shit reputation those shit trucks deservedly have. But also how dumb of a location for an intentional fire.

It'd be hilarious if they can't pick a speaker for months on end
