I was in a similar situation before I transitioned. 34, typically male presentation (hairy, slightly overweight, male fat distribution). I decided to start with things that weren't as "scary" to me as hormones- hair removal, voice training, getting in shape, growing out my hair. Pretty quickly I decided I wanted to start hormones.

The way I approached it was that I wanted to feel more feminine. I didn't really have an end point, but I figured I would walk down that path as long as it felt comfortable, and if it felt too much, i would stop. Eventually, my goal was to "blend" rather than pass (to me, the distinction was not being bothered in public, but maybe still having features that people would pick up on, but at a glance or in short interactions it wouldn't be super obvious).

I ended up having a very successful transition, and I pass better than most trans folks I met. I attribute it to a couple of things - voice training (I had an excellent instructor and I worked my ass off); learning about fashion and finding a style that accents my feminine features but that isn't overtly sexual, and hairstyle - lots of different looks can help soften or hide more masculine features.

A lot of it comes down to luck with genetics, and while I don't discount that, I also believe my hard work played a large factor, too. If passing is your goal, there are specific things you can focus on yo help with that. At the end of the day, the reason you are transitioning is a big factor in how you should approach it. I experience euphoria more than dysphoria, and the social aspect of being female was more important to me than specific parts of my body, so I focused on things that would let me experience society as a cis woman does, as much as was possible for me.

If you want to walk this path, walk it as far as you are comfortable going. The only person who determines where the finish line is, is you.

Any conversation about the acting in this movie that only talks about Crowe has missed the forest for the trees.

It's not just the Maga hats. There is a substantial amount of the population that thinks claims like this are just muckracking by "the other side", and that he is really the better candidate in terms of economy, border security, and traditional values.

Something you might benefit from is practicing with an "increased cognitive load" - basically doing something that uses your brain while also speaking. It can be difficult at first, but eventually, it helps with being able to use your voice without thinking about it.

You need a color correction cream to put on prior to your foundation. Orange is the best if you are pale skinned with dark facial hair. Don't be afraid to go with a true orange color - that's how you get it to cancel out the (typically) blue shadow you are seeing.

As a trans woman, being fetishized is pretty much the only option I have if I want to date men. Sad to hear trans men deal with this too.

As long as they aren't getting medical advice from you, I'm good with it.

That's not entirely true. Receptive vaginal sex is much less likely to transmit the virus than anal sex (about 17x less). Insertive anal sex is more likely to transmit than vaginal sex, too, so the type of sex you have matters too.

Number of partners, and their sexual habits really matter, too. It's important to help people really understand their STI risk if we want people to make healthier decisions regarding sex.

It might be too much butter, but I think you're also light on flour. If you're using cups, make sure you scoop it a little over-full and then level it off. You can also try measuring if you have a kitchen scale.

Some of the other comments have mentioned Joanna Harper, who is trying, but lacks enough data to make meaningful conclusions.

I recently did a presentation on the political side of this, and one thing to note was that with 1 or 2 exceptions, not a single state legislator could identify an instance of a trans woman dominating her field (because the anti trans movement is astroturf and designed to prey on people's fear).

If you would like my sources for the presentation, DM me. I only had a couple on this subject, but some of the auxiliary sources might help too.
