I mean it literally is. People post it there voluntarily knowing that. It's what keeps the lights on.

They've had two years to sort it out. No one's fault but their own.

I can't think of many other cases where you'd allow a country you're at war with to use your territory for funding said war.

It's like the whole giving them weapons but limiting how they can use them against the enemy. It's absolutely insane.

It feels like she isn't really responsible but you are for yelling at work.

I get it people can be irritating but you just can't do that at work.

She likely called HR. Which is the right thing to do I would say.

Seems like you've been moved because they weren't comfortable working with you. Many people might get fired tbh.

Shouting can be incredibly intimidating and it's not something I'd want to deal with at work.

Out of spite

Rarely a good move my friend.

I assume it's your ability to visualise things in your head. I'm the last one 🙃

Play with a dual analog control layout like later entries in the series!

Absolutely not correct at all I'm afraid.

People seem to think we have the ability to control our kids to a huge degree.

Plenty of children with amazing, loving upbringings turn into garbage people. And some of the nicest most kind people I know were raised by abusive scum.

Plus teenage years are difficult for most kids as they find their place in the world and their friends have almost as much influence as parents at that time.

You also can't know what teenagers are doing all the time. Especially at school.

Furthermore some people seem to just be born assholes and it doesn't matter how you raise them.

I'm going to assume you don't have teenagers. They can change into a different person overnight once the hormones kick in.

People complain about the algorithms on other social media but you can see here exactly why they have them.

Without them it becomes hard to get connected to things that interest you.

For Lemmy I've managed to build a decent feed by browsing all and subscribing to communities I like.

You just have to do the algorithms job now.

As for the big communities it's exactly what happened to the old internet. It used to be a large collection of individual sites but discovery was hard. So the front pages of the internet started popping up.

I expect the same thing will happen to the fediverse eventually. It's just a better user experience sadly.

The problem is they are also the aggressor and have been for decades.

Hamas and the Israeli government are both fucking awful.

Feels like a stretch to call carpet bombing civilians a great job.

Also the fact a mentally healthy person can snap in the heat of the moment.

If there's a gun nearby that can be all it takes.

There's no detail here at all.

He can do whatever he likes in his free time really. Plus finding a side hustle in IT that actually makes any decent money isn't that easy.

If the class is asking for lots of money and trying to get them to recruit it could be more worrying.

Do you have a link to the classes website?

The whole point is most people don't want a third party app.

I also think for most users treating them as a normal folder makes complete sense.

Chances are you aren't the target audience of the default configuration of windows. It's aimed at people who have trouble checking their email.

I'm a programmer and would happily spend 8 hours doing it in my free time haha

It's nice to get paid to do something you enjoy. But it's still not as enjoyable as doing it for fun.
