This applies to pretty much all "Linux good, Win/MacOS bad" memes. I just assume that people either aren't really serious about them and it's just tongue in cheek, or they don't have any contact with regular people.

I used to work as a(n assistant to the) sysadmin and the things I got called over never stopped to amaze. For instance, there was a case when software was updated on the work machines and I got called because some lady couldn't use Adobe Acrobat. "It is asking me something, I don't know what". I come over and it's just a TOS Accept/Decline window.

Some people do not understand computers to an extent that they can lock up in a state of confusion when a button has been moved 100px in any direction from its usual position.

"E Ink" is a company, producing displays with a very specific proprietary technology. I think you mean to say more "e-paper", which is a generic term for "paper-like" displays. And unfortunately, right now the only real competition is RLCD (reflective LCD), which is arguably not paper-like enough to qualify. Yes, it's reflective, but other than that, it's just a higher density Game Boy screen. Which is great and all, but it can't compete with E Ink in a lot of aspects. It doesn't have retention, you gotta power the screen, so no signage and stuff. It has LCD-grade bad viewing angles.

RLCDs are cool for certain uses though. For example, I sometimes choose to play on my AGS-001 over my Analogue Pocket if I'm outside in bright daylight.

As a european, fast food is just like a category of food, and more of an occasional treat for me. Normally, I just eat my own homemade food, which is even cheaper. So I guess I see it a little differently, and fast food is allowed to be not cheap if it's "good".

Hell yeah, gimme that cancer patty and those artery clogging fries, baby! But make the obesity water size "for kids".

What was the point of this propaganda? To keep products incompatible somehow?

I bet the change is due to the fact that despite his bot armies he's getting ratioed lately.

He's not illiterate, he's just too cool to care about that nerd stuff.

At the risk of sounding pedantic (which I am), beaming up doesn't physically move you up, just molecularly deconstructs you on the spot.

Side note, do transporters purge poop when transporting? Cause why not, they filter stuff out anyway, might as well de-poop and de-pee.

I wanted to say "seed facial", but if you think about it, all facials are seed facials.

Fuckcars is not necessarily about not having a car. It's about wanting the conditions in which you're able to get rid of your car.

It goes into the square hole.

Guys, you gotta cut these relatable memes. I'm starting to think I have autism.
