Apologies for being slightly tasteless, but - investigators reportedly heard food had allegedly been handled by an individual known to be 'full of shit' in a recent incident.

Ignoring the annoying way in which liberal has been re-christened into anything vaguely left-wing in U.S. parlance, this seems hardly surprising since the conservative side seems both anti-young, and anti-woman.

In any office job I've worked, I would have been able to accomplish jack shit for the second half of the day without a break with some food and good coffee.

Also, breaks in which you can do whatever you want are enforced by law around here, and I'd be surprised if it isn't the same in Australia.

That man is both a dick, and a fool.

In Germany, you can just put a little sign on your letterbox that tells the post person to not give you any free newspapers or mail.

Only ads I've gotten in years where the ones directly addressed to me, and that's like every few months from one of two slightly old fashioned firms, and tends to include a voucher, so that's something.

Here in Germany, they can decide to refuse a name for a child if it's overly krass or might make the child's life unduly difficult. While one can argue about whether they like that, at least it only happens once. If you have a name, you can get as many passports with it on there as you want.

Torrents tend to be more reliable quality; around here, they're both equal in legality/illegality, and you don't have to think about your Internet connection.

The actual trick is having done it earlier, not trying on the couch right beforehand.

They do very little visually interesting stuff with their normal news coverage, but their special reports tend to be quite visually interesting.

Oh, also, you're welcome. If I do come across something I find interesting I generally try to remember to post it to lemmy, because I feel that we really can use the content.

I don't really see the harm in that, if someone wants to erp an ai, they'll find a way. If I remember correctly, OpenAI already isn't all that rigorous with banning people who break the ToS in that way.

I thought it might just have been about a badly worded law, but no, at least from the translation given, the law seems pretty clear, and the opinion from the court seems extremely strange.

Edit: Seems to be working again. Thanks to whomever thanks are due.

When trying in the app I use, Sync for Lemmy, I get a generic error message after a bit.

Thought it might be app related so I tried on the Web version, at lemmy.blahaj.zone, where I get the following error message:

{"data":{"error":"unknown","message":"Request error: error sending request for url (http://pict-rs:8182/image): operation timed out"},"state":"success"}

Cute human gesture, but isn't it kinda weird how much sport and the military seem to be linked in the U.S.?

Well, I guess recruiting more people gives them more reasons for mounting more of these nifty plaques long-term.

I think we as a society are too uptight about nudity, but that doesn't mean that creating pictures of people without their consent, which make them feel uncomfortable, is in any way OK.
