This is why leftist keep losing elections and their legislation doesn’t get passed. They refuse to work with other ideologies and they don’t have enough voters to accomplish anything alone.

Democratic Party is made up of people the voters chose. Many of whom are moderate.

If leftists can’t get enough voters to change that, it won’t change.

Politicians don’t cater to groups that don’t vote.

They need to start poking bears. Use the laws even if outnumbered. Show force; show pressure.

These words mean nothing. They are not a strategy or a plan or even coherent.

You’re avoiding the fact that in a democracy, you need enough votes to make things happen.

Tell us what is happening. Get the word out. We can't help if all we hear is what has happened.

We know what’s happening. That’s why we are having this conversation.

The rules have changed and democrats are still using a textbook from 1990.

What rules have changed? Republicans are breaking the rules by performing a coup. To even imply that democrats should do the same thing as republicans shows you’re arguing in bad faith.

And how will removing the vetting process impact the amount of candidates we get like Fetterman? It will increase them.

The primaries are where the party platform is shifted. It's how the Republicans got first the Tea Party and then MAGA.

Which is why we need the DNC to vet candidates as much as possible. So we don’t end up getting some democrat version of Trump through open primaries.

Involved in what way?

What do you mean by “only do politics on Election Day”

They have been in the house of representative by using the republicans infighting against them. But again democrats don’t have enough elected officials to pass or block legislation because leftists continue to fail at winning over voters and getting elected.

Democrats sure seem to want to work with Republicans, which leftist policies have they adopted?

Single payer healthcare, student loan debt relief, capital gains tax, increasing corporate tax rate, legal marijuana, all the UBI experiments have been done in democratic locations and that’s just off the top of my head. I’m sure there’s more.

The only thing stopping democrats from getting legislation passed is seats in Congress.

Leftist haven’t been able to get elected for barely any congressional seats so our leftist legislation is only as successful as leftist are at getting elected.

But leftist look for any reason to not vote (genocide or whatever the hot topic is that election cycle) and refuse to work with other ideologies. So they never get enough votes to actually get anything passed. The sad thing is they end up blaming democrats for their inability to get anything done so they never learn from their mistakes.

When has a democrat plugged their nose and voted more progressive than they'd like? Leftists do that every single time...

Never. Because democrats are willing to work with other ideologies so they have a bigger group of voters.

Leftists are not willing to work with other ideologies so they don’t get enough votes to win elections or get any legislation passed.

If leftists ever want to get their candidates elected or legislation passed they need to work with other ideologies and reach across the aisle. Because they don’t have enough voters to do anything alone as a result of their own inability to compromise.

Leftists can’t win elections because they refuse to work with other ideologies and they are too small of a voting group to get anything done alone.

Another progressive turns out to be republican. While leftists online get more vocal about removing closed primaries so there is no vetting process to prevent this.
