I don't have this drawer. The ambiguous items just get a place assigned to them with their less ambiguous brethren. And some of these more three dimensional things I keep in a cabinet, like the funnels. I usually keep my scale out on the counter at all times because it's part of my coffee setup in addition to just baking/cooking

Disabled people are animals. As is every human. It feels a little problematic to imply nonhuman animals are inherently inferior

That's not true, they still exist in 2077

We really need to heavily subsidize first trophic level whole foods at the point of sale

I was a kid and saw my dad at work making websites. I thought it was so cool that he could write this magic code that turned into websites. He taught me html cand CSS and showed me how to use firebug to test out changes to my and other websites. I love my dad

I just recently got rid of 90% of my silverware and over half my plates and bowls for this very reason

Microsoft is deeply entrenched and has undergone decades of enshittification. SteamOS is at only the beginning of this cycle. And since SteamOS is linux-based, it's likely to have ramifications for the whole GNU/Linux ecosystem. Furthermore, if there are two vastly different OSes that developers and graphics card manufacturers need to seriously target, they're more likely to write more platform-agnostic software that everyone can benefit from.

If my dad were a psychopathic mass-murdering corporate goon, I'd testify at his killer's sentencing to plead for the judge and jury to be as lenient as possible

Edit: If you give a toad a warm water bath, you really need to make sure the water is safe. I had evian bottles for my pet toad, which I came to after testing many water sources for the right hardness, pH, etc. Tapwater often contains chlorine which can be harmful to amphibians and many brands of bottled water are too soft which can cause too much water to osmote into the amphibian's cells. You should also try to avoid touching a toad as your skin oils and any soap residue can be harmful (in this case I thoroughly washed and rinsed my hands before minimally handling the toad). If you find a trapped and dehydrated toad but don't have the right materials to help it out, try bringing it to a nearby damp and shady spot that it is likely already familiar with.
