Start with the little things you can change. Environmental noise, can you get headphones or earplugs? Social media making you feel down, curate your feed, change sites, or even take a breather. Change up a routine, try a different food, or a hobby. Whatever is in your power, a novel experience might be an idea. Decorate/personalize your space. Add some lights, tapestries, whatever you like. These are some ideas I’ve tried personally and enjoyed a few of.

Curious about how the comments went on this one.

I really think the won’t be happy with anyone for too long. That’s the problem with a cult.

Interesting. I had developed shingles in my eye and described the pain as a 4/10. I felt more tired than in pain, but I’m told by others it’s the worst pain they’ve ever felt.

What else are they gonna do? Play outside in the 100+heat highway adjacent parking lot?

Someone on Imgur posted a slew of headlines from the Clinton candidacy in 2016. Many of them are eerily similar to the ones that have been dominating msm lately.

When I moved from Florida to Connecticut years ago, I already felt so behind in college. I can’t imagine how little an education going to be worth to this population outside of Florida in the future.

My kids both have autism and higher needs. I also have this population of clients. I can’t just uproot, honestly. Sit back and have a drink. Continue to teach the kids skills for stay-at-home careers and maintain a low profile.

Yeah my kids basically took over my steam account already on the family gaming computer. Alas.

Yes I like this! When people (even random strangers) compliment an external thing and it reflects something like a mutual interest that can be pretty cool. Especially if it’s a fellow metalhead.

Not really, to be honest. Unless it’s an event or venue where there is that expectation. Most of us just want to go about our business in general. I would say the first reason is just wanting to be left alone to do what we planned to do at any given time. Secondly, people don’t always take no for an answer. At best, it’s just another bother. At worst, it can be potentially scary. Hope this helps.
