We do! In my area there are quite a few of us and we operate a number of collectives providing things like:

  • Free meals
  • Free groceries
  • Bike repair workshops
  • Theory reading groups
  • Clothing
  • Social activities

Of course there's also a lot of direct action going on for various causes.

Why did I even pretend I could get away without saying it -3-

There's basically no way to answer these questions using real physics I'm afraid.

It definitely can't close it's mouth faster than the speed of light. Yes it would have a strong gravitational pull, almost definitely so strong that it would just collapse into a black hole and not be able to exist. If it weren't that dense, then it would basically just be a big diffuse gas cloud that couldn't do much anyway, it would basically have to be a proto galaxy to not collapse into one.

If it's using magic to exist, then anything is on the table.

I'm a vegan, and fuck those people.

I've got a medical condition that meant I had to take it fairly slowly just it be sure my body wasn't going to literally fall apart when I went vegan, luckily I'm doing well (in a few ways I'm actually much better off now, though I'm still scared of falling apart). Medical conditions are valid as hell for not going vegan, I wasn't aware of how an eating disorder could prevent it but I've read a fair bit online now, so thankyou for sharing.

One of the scariest moments of my life was when my friends and I were publically assaulted by a pair of very large vegan men who didn't like that we weren't vegan. I was vego at the time but sure as hell wasn't going to tell them, people who act like that are an absolute disgrace and make me ashamed to be vegan. Veganism to me comes from a deep sense of empathy, if you can't feel empathy for other people then you're not a vegan as far as I'm concerned.

I assume this is the "small government" party doing this?

(I'm not an American)

It's important for the left to recognise that boomers as a whole also represent a group of people who face significant systemic challenges, and that the real enemy is capitalism and the power structures that maintain it as the status quo.

HOLY SHIT THIS IS THE MOST AWFUL THING I'VE READ ABOUT CAN WE NOT PLEASE

Why can't we just fucking treat animals nicely instead of doing insane shit to them, I'm literally going to go and throw up now

That was one of Louis Theroux's phenomenal docos.

He was super confused at the end when he was met with "but we want to hurt them" it was a bit funny how jarring it was, but also really sad.

I'm more concerned about the fact that shitty companies will use this sort of thing to put graphic designers out of a job.

This isn't good progress. Even soulless corporate bullshit puts food on the table for someone, soon it'll just make another company a bit richer.
