If you are going to make a long winded statement, its not crazy to preface it with something.

Just a caveat, seeking therapy for ADHD is improving mental fortitude. Nothing wrong with that, and some people might need chemical assistance. Hard to say, its such a young field.

Statistics are an average, not to be applied to a single person as prophecy. Surely you can reason that out?

Depends who would pay more for the technology. Game developers or invidividual voice actors.

Maybe if they had a big enough union, they could swing it. Although at that point just get ai voices banned to protect your field.

Also, just an aside, I wouldnt pay extra for an AI version of an actor I liked. Thats still not them acting.

Thats a fair opinion, although I think its likely to cause the opposite reactions than you listed. But again, who really knows.

Also I'm sure most people in most places are good people, just like anywhere, Lebanon included.

The reason I bring it up is because americans are again going to say this was just an idiot with a gun.

He took training classes just like everyone else in here shouting about gun safety. He is a town councilman. He is not an idiot with a gun, he's an above average example of an American, which should be terrifying.

The takeaway here is that America has too few regulations on firearms. In fact it should be flipped, where noone gets a gun unless they have a proven need for one.

Yeah that would be the very basic idea. The general population simply is not capable of handling guns on the scale it currently is.

Gun ownership needs to be based on actual need rather than fear.

I'll save you time. Licensed factory in Europe, making Chinese beepers, was compromised or owned by Israel. They then put explosives in the pagers and set them to explode when paged a certain code.

They knew hezbollah was the purchaser, and would disperse them amongst its members.

I think its stupid unless it stopped some imminent horrible attack. Otherwise, Israel has given themselves away, and only killed 8 people for it. Maybe they had trouble rigging them to steal their communications.

Oh so everyone there who had a pager must have been a bad guy. Got it, solid logic. Can't wait for the war to spread further.

[-] Rekorse@sh.itjust.works 10 points 12 hours ago

Its not rocket science how they did it. What is the impressive part? Are we really just going to say civilians don't matter? Is it impressive to you because of how many people were hurt?

In no way is it required to respect the craft or the method.

That part about being afraid youll oversleep is also anxiety.

Anxiety prevents sleep, general advice is to have a routine that calms you down.

My thing is just somehow convincing myself theres nothing to be anxious about. It really helps though if you can handle whatever might happen as a result.

Last time I couldn't sleep like that it was because I had sentencing in the morning and I didnt think I could handle prison. Luckily I didnt have to go.

Thats practically putting yourself to sleep, besides the fact mixing those two substances is absurdly dangerous.

Good luck with all that but its fucking awful advice.
