Coercive interventions have been the preferred response to substance use in many countries. When evaluated, these programs are documented to have success rates lower than four percent. Beyond their marginal benefits, forced treatment programs come with their own downsides, including heightened risk of fatal drug poisonings.

In Massachusetts, where involuntary treatment has been the law of the land since 2018, the state public health department found that the risk of fatal overdose was twice as likely compared to post-voluntary treatment.

Last year the Red Deer Recovery Community opened its doors. The provincially funded 75-bed treatment centre is managed by Edgewood Health Network, a for-profit health care company which operates 11 similar sites across Canada. For Edgewood's services in Red Deer, the province has found itself dishing out $13 million a year.

With so much profit to be made, Bay Street has rushed to insert itself into the equation. Expecting huge returns, Peloton Capital Management (PCM), a billion-dollar Toronto-based private equity firm, began financing Edgewood Health Network's expansion 2021.

The pro-opposition President, Salome Zourabichvili, stated that Georgians were "victims of what can only be described as a Russian special operation -- a new form of hybrid warfare waged against our people and our country." However, when asked by Western journalists to substantiate this, she could only say that the government had used "Russian methodology."

The Biden administration and other Western governments and institutions have not even waited for detailed reports from their own observers to call the election results into question. Moreover, it must be stated with regret that many of these observers can hardly be called objective.

President Biden, absurdly, "cited international and local observers' assessments that elections in Georgia were not free, nor fair;" absurdly, because the local observers are overwhelmingly from NGOs closely linked to the Georgian opposition. As to monitors from the West, in many cases their parent institutions have spent months denouncing the Georgian government as undemocratic and under Moscow's sway.

Oxfam's research found that the world's fifty richest billionaires produce on average more carbon emissions in under three hours than the average British person does in their entire lifetime. On average, they take 184 private jet flights in a single year, spending 425 hours in the air. This produced as much carbon as the average person in the world would in 300 years. Their luxury yachts emitted as much carbon as the average person would in 860 years.

This seems to be the actual indictment, in case anyone wants to read it:

The Carter Center (cited by that BBC piece) is funded by various western governments including the US, as well as CIA-affiliated regime-change orgs like the National Endowment for Democracy. They are not a neutral party.

The "pro-Kremlin" smear is similarly questionable as it is promoted by the same groups.

Are there any problems with this particular story? I found it to be mostly collating current thought about BCI and its applications.

This article is literally quoting the official press release of the committee's chairman:

https://oversight.house.gov/release/wenstrup-releases-statement-following-dr-faucis-two-day-testimony/

Dr. Fauci claimed that the “6 feet apart” social distancing recommendation promoted by federal health officials was likely not based on any data. He characterized the development of the guidance by stating “it sort of just appeared.”

Dr. Fauci acknowledged that the lab leak hypothesis is not a conspiracy theory.

Dr. Fauci admitted that America’s vaccine mandates during the COVID-19 pandemic could increase vaccine hesitancy in the future.
