Vile. Disgusting.

I feel so bad for the minority of people there. But the majority apparently, instead of seeing "fuck yeah, Kamala, she could be beacon of democracy and progress in the world" decided "nope, orange man hate people me hate so FUCK YOU OTHER PEOPLE".

It's so sad.

I feel like some journalist got high as fuck with a dev, wrote out a fucking fever dream of... drivel and then the editors were like fuck it, Tim Sweeney pays us to post some hit pieces against Valve and this is all we got this month so we'll just run with this.

Reddit is worse but they use puppet accounts so you can't easily tell.

Fuck it. I'm inventing a new scale.

Behold! "Disagree Degrees". We're going to combine the best traits of the other units. No more searching for the stupid little degree character in the character map. D for degrees or disagrees - whatever, I don't give a shit.

0D = 0K (Like Kelvin, no negatives! That's so dumb!) 0.4D = -40 C and -40 F 1D = Water Freezing point (Need a consistent point of scale) 10D = "Pleasant temperature" 100D = Kind of hot 500D = Really hot for people (>40C or >100F) "It's like 500 disagrees out there!" 1000D= Water boiling (To match the freezing temp) 1,000,000,000,000D = Surface of the sun

Good luck on the math converting to other units, this temperature scale isn't about being useful for nerd stuff, it's all about appealing to our emotions.

No beehive, not Marge. It's like, her one defining feature, how do you fuck that up? Give this back to Facebook and tell them to try better next time.

Not a fan of this article. Typical armchair-conservationist whining about the number last year provides zero context of what happened - this article reads as of it was written by someone in the otherside of the world with that stat as the lone figure to base assumptions on.

"Securing garbage and fruit trees" is written as the boogeyman but the underlying problem was a lack of food in the wild for them. "Urban expansion" is not the cause here - hell a couple of the communities on this list including one I live in have had negative growth.

Wild huckleberry production is probably the single largest indicator to how many bears move into communities and last year they were devastated by the drought. Between this and the pressure from yet another insane wildfire season, bears were driven into human contact, and yes, bad human habits made this a problem from there.

I guess my point is that they weren't simply lured in, as this shoddy journalism suggests. This is yet another consequence of climate change. This will only get worse.

Another point of contention - COs were woefully understaffed and under resourced. Trapping and relocating animals just wasn't an option when you have one trap per town at best. Often RCMP were dealing with bears and I bet you can guess which tools they have at their disposal.

My field recon suggests this year to be better for wild berries in my area maybe, but I'll wait and see. I hope some good studies can surface over this whole ordeal and we can work out better solutions before this gets out of hand next time.

The free version of the game still exists! The paid version literally only gets you the new tileset and music but is otherwise the exact same game and still updated! And if the ASCII tileset is a big turn off, people had made free tilesets years ago you could use instead (it was the only way I could play the game myself back in pre-steam days).

"Mario is Missing" for the SNES.

I remember opening the Sears catalog and seeing what must be the sequel to Super Mario World. I shovelled driveways and busted open my piggy bank - it was a full price Nintendo game and I had to have it.

I started my subscription to Nintendo Power after that...
