Democrats are a party. They accept collective responsibility by joining in coalition. Also, it wasn't just one democrat. Stuff like this crosses dozens of desks and they all were Democrats. And this is a consistent thing that they always do

It isn't misinformation to call Democrats fascist collaborators. That's exactly what they are

I mean... Stamps

Wait I'm confused. Did you just admit to being a bot account?

[-] BoulevardBlvd 6 points 1 month ago

Should or shouldn't doesn't matter. The majority wants an account that doesn't require external verification.

Ignore the fact that that's not truly possible. People will go to whatever platform makes them feel it's true the best.

Being capable of effectively convincing people your platform will provide this is a baseline requirement to even start having this discussion. The anonymous Internet isn't something most people want

We have these in Lansing MI too! Part of the Satanic Panic back in the 80s involved kids playing D&D down in parts of the steam tunnels under MSU, which, I'm told, is much harder to do now ~~unfortunately~~ very fortunately since children don't know how to look out for a superheated steam leak and it was only a matter of time before a child got fucking bisected

Genuine question because you absolutelyalready took the time out of your day to clarify the intent with your parenthetical at the end there: is this an ego thing? Like what is it about tone indicators like "/s" that you hate so deeply that you feel the need to go out of your way to create a bespoke, alternate tone indicator which was 10x longer and 100x whiny-er? Where did these feelings come from? Clearly you understand that they're needed, so why do you persist in this nonsense?

Tearing down monopolies is an inherent good independent of the fact that the entire industry should be torn down with them. Be happy the court is willing to exercise their power to break monopolies at all. Doing so here normalizes doing it elsewhere

Slazers' point that is is pocket change to apple however is an excellent point. If it forces compliance then it's still a win. We'll see what happens

Your plan is sound. Just make sure whatever you use as a brace underneath doesn't naturally warp in the same direction

Yeah, seriously. They can fuck right off with that one. They don't own the community. You get to be a part by contributing. It's up to the community whether you're let in or no. Log Cabin morons think they own us already

There are Genz who are older than the DVD. I'm certain that the majority of them would know what a VCR is. Unless they were very rich, they still watched movies on tape when they were little. That's before we talk about how the VCR//DVD combo unit was the most popular option well into the DVD life cycle because most people didn't want to re-buy what they already had on tape. VCR didn't really die until Blu-ray kicked it off the combo unit with the DVD which wasn't until like 2007. Some of them were in middle school by then

I get the shot part but you're seriously telling me someone in another country wouldn't ever think to use the two tonne high speed steel box around them as a weapon when threatened?
